beach day w dbf!hotch and he helps u put on sunblock but he can't help it n drags u to the bathrooms
he's first bemused when you exit your home through the screen door and onto the patio, a sheer skirt slipped around your waist and a platter of drinks balanced on one hand. the plunging neckline of your bathing suit goes unnoticed by many of the pool party's attendants, but he's fixated by them, stealing a glance at every opportunity.
the second time is when you lean over his table, re-filled plate of beverages clunking against the metal table. "hi dad," you preen, leaning over to the right to press a chaste kiss to your father's cheek. "mom's still in the kitchen, i think it's time for a shift change, don't you think?"
the drink that hotch accepts is icy cold against his fingertips, and they live markings against the cool glass when he places it back down on the table. "you're not going to say hello to aaron, sweetheart?" your father muses, pushing off the chair. "it's been a while since you've seen him, you haven't forgotten each other, have you?"
you press your lips into a forced simper, shaking your head, and hotch has to readjust the fabric of his swimming trunks. "of course not. he's always been a close friend."
your father claps a gentle hand on your bare shoulder before he departs for the kitchen, hopefully to relieve your mother from her bartending duties. your hand drifts to a stray bottle of sunblock left shielded by the shade of the umbrella above, and you offer it to the brunet. "while i have you here.." you offer, voice dripping with a sickly sweet undertone. "i forgot to put on some sun block. you wouldn't mind helping, would you, aaron? it's important to take care of your skin, you know."
he takes the offered bottle with a piercing glare, his dark eyes flitting over to the glass doors once again before they plant back onto your bare chest. if he squints, he can see the faint outline of your pebbling nipples through the thin fabric, and then he's forced to look away again. "upstairs in ten." he grunts in his gravely tone. "and not a second late."
