Most would think it'd be crazy for Goten to date an actress, but honestly, it was stranger for you to date a half-alien who had an arsenal of fighters for a family.

Goten felt lucky that he met you that day.

You were in a little cafe stopping for something sweet.

And so was he.

But then, a fan caught sight of you in the middle of your conversation.

With speed that could've rivaled anyone he knew, you grabbed his wrist.

"Run!"

Startled, he simply picked you up and ran as a crowd began to chase you.

"They're relentless!" an amused laugh bubbled from you.

On instinct, Goten flew to a roof, out of their sight.

But...he kinda forgot about the human he was with.

"Dang it! Uh, please don't say anything about what I just did!"

You raised a brow, munching on a pastry from your bag.

"You saved me, what would I tell on you for?"

He gaze turned down to the huge crowd of confused fans.

"You don't like your fans?"

"No, I love them dearly...It just...can get a little suffocating when they're at every corner. Especially when my bodyguard isn't around to make sure I don't get hurt."

"I'm Goten, by the way..."

You offer a hand, "Well, I would introduce myself, but my name's plastered everywhere, so I'm sure it's not necessary."

And you sat up there for hours, eating your pastries and talking about yourselves.

Until Goten remembered he had a date with Val...in five minutes.

"Uh...It was nice meetin' you, [Name]! I'm sorry, but I've got to get going!"

"Sure, thing--"

"Oh, but I've got to get you down..."

"Yeah, I was gonna mention that," you giggled.

You ran into each other again and it ended up with you hanging out.

And after Chi-Chi lets him know, "Whoever this girl is, sweetheart. It's obvious you have feelings for her."

He musters up the courage to break up with Val and take his chances with you.

And it was the best decision he ever made.

Although you were busy, you always did your best to make time for him.

You went out on cute little dates, Goten was always amused by your disguises.

And it wasn't long before Chi-Chi and Gohan wanted to meet you, Goku didn't know about you yet.

"Oh, she's so cute, Goten!"

Gohan observed you, "You look familiar."

"Uh...well," you didn't really brag about being a celeb, but Goten sure had no problem with it.

"[Name]'s that famous actress we see in all the movies these days."

"Actress?" Chi-Chi, out of genuine concern asked if you had a backup plan since acting could always easily end for someone.

But when you told her you owned a business on the side (she was familiar with the name), "Oh, I like her. Keep her, Goten. She's got herself together."

"I plan to," his arm around your waist tightened.

Then you met Goku, and after meeting his sons, you wondered how the heck they were raised by him.

Dinner was amusing and startling all at once, their appetite wasn't human.

But Goten just came out with it and said only the women at the table were human.

It seemed like after that, you got to see more of his non-human qualities.

Like him fighting villains in the city to protect you once.

Which made you want to learn how to fight.

He relented when you gave him the cutest face you could.

Training with you was fun, he enjoyed it.

And sometimes you would play fight, which led to your first kiss one day.

He was smug whenever you would bring him up, people always wondered who this mystery man was.

But you didn't want the relationship to be spoiled for you.

He often helped you practice lines, and you had to do less romantic scenes.

You and Goten would always get sidetracked with those.

He wasn't the jealous type but always had to kiss you after the rare kiss scenes you did have.

And do better to make you forget all about that.

Sometimes, when you would be tired, you'd just cuddle into him and sleep.

He wouldn't mind, he always traced words into your skin, smiling as you peacefully slept.

Other times, you would both go to your special spot to escape both your worlds and make your own together.

"I love you, [Name]," he kissed down your shoulder.

You raked your fingers through his hair, "I love you too, Goten. More than anything."
