I know, right? But tbh I'm not expecting any great emotional depth this time. Idk but the idea that I've had from these 3 new episodes from this arc is that from now on it will be only cool fights to make people have fun (not that I dislike the idea)

Yeah I’m expecting if they choose to let Gohan fail for whatever reason that it’s DBZ lite because DBS at times comes off like it’s something in-between Shonen Jump and Young Jump to me. I could also see DBS saying that breaking Gohan was what they did when he tried to fight in that green tracksuit a while back and so he’s been secretly training ever since so that won’t happen again. 

I do really want them to send Goku some kind of wake up call, but I also know it’s unlikely because DBS isn’t really into that aspect of DBZ. I’m not opposed to fun fights, but I want to see at least a few that are a struggle. Like since Buu’s fight was cool and fun I want to see Gohan’s opponent do something unexpected and win that fight so the Z Warriors have a sense of what they’re up against. 

Then again, Gohan could win his fight and then Goku could struggle, but Goku struggling int hat way seems unlikely since we just had an entire arc where Goku struggling with an evil body snatcher

Blade, Vicchan and History for the YOI meme :)

Blade: Favorite performance from any character so far. - It’s hard to say because while the animation is nicely done, they don’t seem like actual skating performances to me so it’s hard to say

Vicchan: Describe your ideal ending to the show. - Viktor and Yuri talk it out and get on the same page. Yurio takes gold, signifying that Viktor’s era is over and Yurio’s has begun. Viktor and Yuri return to Japan where they make it work. 

History: Favorite musical piece from the show. - I like Agape best. I like not only the heavenly voices but also the use of horn. It’s a haunting kind of piece
