Trash people attract trash people hence tloo work place/boss and Jarod, Bob, Sachin, Devon, and the list goes on. There are those who get out while they can be away from these things and people, there are those who stay but are not attached to the hip and there are those who seem pretty cool with who those people are and how they act on a DAILY basis. Those people reach another level of lack of human decency if u associate with them u r cool with what they do as long as its not directed to u
Here’s what really makes you think about that entire cast. All those people you mentioned plus the dumb blonde who plays Harper have REPEATEDLY and CONSISTENTLY said pretty awful things about fans, Lexa, the reaction to her death, the “movement”, and many more random things that don’t even have to with the show. These Z listers think that’s normal and acceptable to say at cons, meet & greets, and social media.
Here’s the thing, with the exception of very few people, every human has filters. We all know that not everything is okay to say in public and we reserve certain sides of ourselves for our friends and close circles away from prying eyes. If the shit we’ve heard is what they think is passable to say on public platforms can you fucking imagine the absolutely disgusting shit that comes out of them when they’re alone? When they’re with their friend and coworkers who they clearly know won’t judge them and who may or may not support their views but are better at handling themselves in public by keeping their mouths shut?
When you start to think about it and still see how those who are the most problematic in public still have friends who stick by them no matter what trash they spew, you can’t help but begin to wonder about the ones who might have never done anything explicitly and glaringly problematic but don’t remove themselves from those people outside of work. At least I sure as hell do. You’re the company you keep. Simple as that.
