John Egbert
John is pretty easygoing but not exactly used to someone being that affectionate all the time. You’re always leaning on him, hugging him, or grabbing his arm during conversations.
He loves it because it feels like you really like him — but also he’s often caught off guard and sometimes freezes up mid-sentence, especially when you get extra clingy.
Secretly, John’s completely into you but has no idea how to express it, so he just tries to keep up with your energy while internally screaming.
Sometimes he’ll try to match your enthusiasm with goofy hugs or tickle attacks to get you to notice he’s interested too.
Dave Strider
Dave pretends he’s totally chill with your clinginess, but honestly, he’s lowkey freaking out whenever you invade his personal space. His “cool” exterior cracks every time you hug him from behind or drape yourself over his shoulders.
He’s secretly flattered but so conflicted because he wants to be aloof and mysterious, yet you keep dragging him into the spotlight with your affection.
Dave’s attempts at sarcasm and jokes sometimes come out more awkward than he intends, especially when he’s blushing and can’t look you in the eye.
Deep down, he’s hoping you’ll notice he’s into you too, but he’s too proud (and embarrassed) to say it outright.
Karkat Vantas
Karkat is a mess. He’s overwhelmed by your constant hugs and physical closeness but doesn’t want to hurt your feelings.
He grumbles and complains about “too much affection,” but the corners of his mouth twitch up in a smile when you hug him tightly.
Every time you cling to him, his mind goes into overdrive trying to figure out if you like him—or if you just like everyone that much.
When you’re not looking, Karkat stares at you a lot, trying to figure out how to say “I like you” without sounding like a total dork.
Eventually, he bursts out with something awkward and heartfelt, usually involving excessive yelling and blushing.
Tavros Nitram
Tavros adores your affection. You’re like a constant source of warmth and comfort for him, and he never wants you to stop touching him.
He’s shy but absolutely melts when you lean your head on his shoulder or hold his hand.
Sometimes he blushes so hard he can barely speak but you just giggle and squeeze his hand tighter.
Tavros is pretty sure he likes you but is too nervous to say anything, so he just enjoys the cuddles and hopes you feel the same way.
Occasionally, he tries to be a bit bolder, like brushing your hair back or resting his head against yours, hoping you notice.
Sollux Captor
Sollux is caught between irritation and affection. He hates being touched all the time but loves it when it’s you.
Your clinginess sometimes gives him headaches (literal ones), but he won’t say no to your hugs or cheek pinches.
He mutters snarky comments about “being a slave to your affection,” but you can tell he’s secretly happy.
Sollux’s duality makes it hard for him to admit he likes you, but when he’s alone, he looks at your texts and smiles softly.
He’s probably trying to write you a weird but sweet poem in binary code.
Nepeta Leijon
Nepeta is thrilled by your affection and totally matches it with her own cuddles and playful pawing.
She often starts purring when you hug her and even tries to nuzzle you like a cat.
Nepeta thinks you’re the best thing ever and is super confident you like her too, even though you’re clueless.
She teases you gently when you accidentally invade her space too, but then wraps you up in a big furry hug.
Nepeta’s probably planning to draw cute comics about you two and ship you hard with herself.
Kanaya Maryam
Kanaya is composed but very touched by your affection. She appreciates how openly you show you care, even if it makes her a little flustered.
She enjoys quiet moments with you when you lean on her or hold her arm but is also a little overwhelmed by your boundless energy sometimes.

Gamzee Makara (early)

Gamzee uses silly nicknames and goofy antics to keep things lighthearted but always makes sure you feel safe and cared for.
Sometimes he’ll pull you into a slow hug just to remind you he’s there for you.
Gamzee is probably humming a song to you in the middle of a hazy day, and you wouldn’t want it any other way
