Old age wasn’t something that Diana had much experience with. The Amazons of Themyscira were immortal and ageless – her mother and sisters looked the same now as she had always remembered them. She’d been the only aging thing on Paradise Island her whole childhood and had never seen its effects on anyone but herself. Diana didn’t know whether she would age now that she’s out in the wider world. That would be something she’d have to figure out over time. She didn’t dread the thought of it, though – Julia made it look so graceful and natural.

Wonder Woman Year One so sapphic I just needed to make a post for it ~

👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩 Diana and her most recent girlfriend before leaving Themyscira to be their champion, Kasia. Even before Steve Trevor showed up and forced Themyscira to choose a champion, Diana dreamed of seeing what was outside their island, while Kasia (and probably her other past lovers) didn’t miss it, remembering how bad it had treated her in her past life.

👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩 And I mean most recent girlfriend because of this little blurb with my poor girl Io thirsting over Diana. Di’s a ladykiller, lol… love that for her 🫂

👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩 Of course you can’t mention gay and Themyscira in the same sentence without mentioning Hippolyta and Philippus <3 mothers ((Philippus calling her “Lyta” is soo cute))
