Chaotic hc but y'all remember in ep 8 S1 of MAWS when Clark hadn't slept for like 4 days and his apartment was covered in coffee cups? That reminded me of a Tumblr post about people who order ungodly amount of espresso shots in their coffee
I've been thinking about a sitcom style situation where all the villains +Clark are getting coffee in the facility canteen and everyone heard him order straight espresso. "Just fill a cup with espresso shots and let me have it." They think he's joking, he's handed the cup and downs it.
10 minutes later he's found passed out asleep on a couch because his body physically cannot hold awake anymore and absolutely nothing can wake him up,he hasn't slept in +100 hours now. he's snoring. Mist goes and tells the general.
"so what you're telling me, is he drank straight espresso and then immediately fell asleep?" The general turns to intergang, all of whom nod.
"perhaps he just didn't drink it?"
Roughhouse checks the cup. "Empty." He checks Clark's breath and grimaces "he absolutely drank it"
"and he's asleep?"
Livewire slaps Clark across the face 2 times. Ivo walks up and slaps him 3 more. The slaps reverberate off the walls. "out cold."
"How the fuck is he asleep after drinking that unholy concoction?" Livewire muses.
The general pulls out a remote, pressed a button and Clark's body seizes for a few seconds.
Then he continues snoring.
Eventually they decide it's worthless, throw a blanket on him and wait for him to wake up, which doesn't happen for another 19 hours. Blood work showed that Clark had enough caffeine in his system to flatline 30 adult humans. He is forbidden from the coffee booth.
