At the end of comedy last night, @sylviatmorrison asked me to come on stage and thanked me for being so supportive of the #DCComedyShowcase. I just want to laugh because I think we all need to do that as much as possible and this woman right here makes me do just that every time I am around her. She is the first African-American woman to write for Saturday Night Live. An absolute legend in the game who has been doing comedy for 50 years. A master impressionist, published author, and she doesn’t know this, but soon to be bachatera. Thank you so much for being so incredibly kind to me. No one has ever pulled me on stage in front of a crowd to publicly thank me that way and I was moved by her gesture. I appreciate you Miss Morrison and I am saving a dance just for you at #DCBX11 (at 618 Cocktail and Whiskey Lounge) https://www.instagram.com/p/BwcJYI2B4-yMF6goNDUSLJDiIhSzaM3w6sNhpI0/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=2cuk9t3sa1iy
