DC Trip Day 5 Part one: Starting the day with the Washington Monument. We could go inside due to elevator repairs. Thanks Spider-Man!
DC Trip Day 4 Part six: Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum. Every museum is so big, but we saw the highlights. Wright brothers, Amelia Earhart's plane, Apollo capsule. It was amazing.
Day 2 of DC Trip Part 3: Got some pizza and explored the city a bit! Tried to go to an orchestra concert on the mall, but it was so crowded. DC is gorgeous at night!
Day one of my Washington DC! Only made it to Durham so far, but I got some great food. Green burrito and margarita from the Cosmic Cantina and Tiger Stripe ice cream from Pincho Loco.
DC Trip Day 3 Part 1: We hit up the National Arboretum. It's huge! We should have brought a car. We may have overdone the walking, but we had to see the state trees and ferns. Also, they had 4 Dawn Redwoods (Atlanta only has one). Then we got some tacos to refuel.
DC Trip Day 4 Part two: Smithsonian Natural History museum. There were too many things! I loved it! Favorites were the butterflies and the giant Isopod. So many skeletons too!
DC Trip Day 4 Part one: We got breakfast this morning from Lincoln's Waffle Shop (nice and hearty) and started our journey to the National Mall for the museums. Passed Trump's hotel on the way (unfortunately I didn't have any eggs).
DC Trip Day 5 Part three: It was a long walk across the Mall by the reflection pond, but it was worth it. The Lincoln Memorial! It was too crowded due to the weather.
