🖋 (*demonic whisper* Do Tom Riddle, I wanna SEE)
The emerald green eyes of the Slytherin boy fix on the girl in the corridor, admiring her in the candlelight. No, not at admiring . . . It was more of preying on her for a future adventure that Tom would keep SECRET until the moment was right. The youngest of the Slytherin Princes s l i t h e r e d from one shadow to the next as he watched the girl roam the halls alone. She looked. . . Frightened. Rightfully so. They heard rumour of something TWISTED opening within the castle walls. Who wouldn’t be frightened as they walked through the halls after curfew after hearing that?
Over time he grew bored of watching her and decided that it was time that he step into the light to make his appearance known. So, he did. As she rounded a corner of the Girls’ Bathroom, Tom stepped into the dim washroom, his height towering over the girl. His lips curled into a smirk, one of devious intent and resourceful manners. It was time the Chamber of Secrets took its first VICTIM.
“My. . . Isn’t it a little late to be out and about, Myrtle?” He hissed as he followed her nervous footsteps. With every step that she took backwards, Tom took it upon himself to take another step forwards. “We wouldn’t want the professors to find out about this, would we?” His words slithered out of his mouth and into the air. Before she had the CHANCE to say much else on the manner, he spoke words of a language that only snakes would hear. While it sounded like gibberish to the unknown ears, Tom know well what he was doing as the beast from the Chamber made its appearance and KILLED the innocent mudblood in front of him and took her down into the dark abyss from which it lived. And Tom? Well . . . Tom fixed his robes and slipped right out of the Girls’ Bathroom and back into the shadows of the dimly-lit corridor where he s l i t h e r e d back toward the Slytherin Common Room with gliding steps.
