To have Diluc actually voice his discontent with her actions isn't something that happens often— after all, they have a sort of silent agreement in which they stay out of each other's way unless absolutely necessary. It seems like this time, however, he's not happy with the fact she isn't enjoying the festival she herself helped to plan.
"Ah, I..." Barbara had been the same not long ago, criticizing how she was focusing on work even at a festive time such as this one. Windblume was only once a year. Letting out a sigh, she stands up from her desk. "...I suppose you're right. I'm just not entirely sure how to go about it, so... would it be too much to ask for you to accompany me?"
