Is this what LA actually looks like? It's... not entirely what I expect ×_×
Bippity Boppity Boo Let's go back to twenty two~
This wasn't his house. Toby knew that immediately. Sitting at a random desk, several different monitors in front of him, all showing different text files, unfinished lines of code, random scrawlings, was that security footage on one of them?
There's a mask just a few inches away, seemingly discard for the time being. Red lenses, scraped face guard, an odd attachment on one of the lenses. Maybe it was whoever ran this places? Actually, better question, where the hell was he?
He adjusted his glasses, swiping a bit of his shoulder-length hair out of his face. This place was an absolute wreck. The scent was familiar, though, a sterilized room, just like the labs in the tower.
He opened up one of the closest doors, eyes widened as he saw what was in the closet. Guns. Racks and racks of guns. He was used to being near weaponry. The Nexus Core was a constant presence within the labs, but this... this was extreme. The mass amount of ammo, boxes labeled with what was contained inside it. It made Toby queasy.
He was in a psychopath's house. He had to be. He stumbled back, finding the door to the outside. Like Hell was he going upstairs. He did not want to know what was up there.
"What the–" This wasn't Nexus City. There weren't rows of apartments, no noise from bustling commercial sector, no smoke drifting form the industrial sector. Just... endless gray. He glanced up, his brow furrowing. Where the living fuck was the sky? It should not be pitch black. It wasn't even night, just... inky black sky.
