Dead Night will be released on DVD on September 11 via Dark Sky Films. Unfortunately, no Blu-ray is planned and no special features are listed. The film is currently available on VOD.

John Dies at the End producer Bradford Baruh makes his directorial debut on the indie horror film, which was previously known as Applecart when it was on the festival circuit. Watch the trailer here.

Brea Grant, AJ Bowen, Sophie Dalah, Elise Luthman, Joshua Hoffman, Daniel Roebuck, and Barbara Crampton star. Don Coscarelli (Phantasm) executive producers, while Joseph Bishara (Insidious, The Conjuring) composed the sore.

James and his wife Casey load up their two teenage kids and head out to a remote cabin in Oregon for a weekend trip. When James heads into the snowy forest in search of firewood, he encounters an enigmatic woman passed out in the snow. Bringing her back to the cabin for help, the family has no way of knowing that the woman’s presence is the catalyst for a series of events that will change their lives forever.

breagrant #tbt to when my friend and life inspiration @cathybaronphotography took some photos of me after I wrapped #DeadNight. I had had a rough year but then moved in with some nice women, met a nice boy, dyed my hair dark and got invited to do a movie that is one of my favorite experiences of all time. DEAD NIGHT is out tomorrow on VOD and in theaters.

breagrant #tbt on the very cold set of #DeadNight. This is out July 27th and was a big change for me as an actress. - it was the first time I played a mom of teenagers and really feel like I’ve gotten to play an adult with full adult problems. - It was a script I really liked with a bunch of people who I really liked and gave me a lot of confidence because these people had confidence in me. Please watch this movie because I think it’s super great. And if you want me to come talk about it on your podcast or whatever I will do that because it’s awesome.
