Umm, I’m not too sure, I used to have them open!! But now that my pieces are so much idk larger, I’ll have to raise my prices and redo my comm sheet nd sometimes I get nervous about if i don’t finish comms fast enough (mind u I always get them done in under a week), umm or my WORST fear ever (getting artblock while I’m doing a comm) but I’m also going to college in aug so I’ll have to see how much time I have :,) keep an eye out tho!!

Hello!!! Thank you!! Um, I think when colouring things it’s good to establish the saturation, in a lot of my art is desaturated, so I hold back on certain colours, typical “skin” (bright peach, bright brown, bright orange(?) colours can make a piece look weird depending on the colour grading.
I never make anything a flat colour, my skintones, green, purple, orange, red (in varying shades) I add blues to cooler dark spots sometimes and I also add blues to highlights, greens can look nice (I make sure to do this on another layer so I can change the values and opacity without it effecting the rest of the art). A lot of my shading is usually a multiply layer and some wacky colour like purple or green. I think it creates dimension
I use alot of filters, and fuck around with my art a lot on ibis paint, the posterize filter is my favourite, it takes pieces that look a little flat and introduces new colours to them that you may not have thought of.
When I put colour filters on my art I make a bunch of duplicates and adjust the opacity on each one instead of applying all of the colour filters to the same layer.
