So after Ghost Game episode 51 Headless, I had the theory that SkullKnightmon, specifically Cavalier Mode, and by extension DarkKnightmon were potentially based on the Dullahan after the Unseelie fae is mentioned in said episode by name

I honestly have to wonder if Headless had any influence on Dullahamon’s development given that it has what appears to be an axe blade coming out of its flail-face

Also the choice of a flail-head presumably comes from the Dullahan being said to use a whip fashioned from a human spine as seen in the top image

I did do both colors. Felt like someone would be disappointed if I didn't. But I did really want to explore the idea of the purified SkullKnightmon becoming DarkKnightmon again, and what that would look like. Weirdly, because of how predominant SkullKnightmon is to the combination, the colors work surprisingly well.

Next we move onto some new designs. I've got some ideas for how the next partner is going to look, but it definitely needs some ironing out.
