((And then it wasn’t silly and I was an asshole.))
I wasn’t strong enough.
((Ophi’s death only reminds me of this song woops.))
“Was she happy before she passed? What was she thinking before it happened...was there anything she was looking forward to?”
I wish there were more I could have done, if anything at all.
Memorial
A small flyer is tacked upon the door of the shop,a copy of it is posted in the window.
“Ophillia’s Velloa’s memorial service will be held the 20th April at the Demacia Divinity Church. The service will be open to the public as a time to celebrate her short, young life. Her paintings will be on display at the memorial and at Velloa Books for a lengthy period of time.”
Rourke frowned, holding the finished funeral plans in his hands. He scrunched up his eyes tightly, taking in a deep breath. It was hard to keep his fingers steady, hard to make sure the paper remained uncrumpled and perfect.
Just send out the announcement to the paper already.
Just do it.
Breathe.
