Have you ever been to tsubasacon before? Cause ive only been to Otakon before and i was wonderhow it is. I can only go to one i cant decide which one
Otakon. If you are able, go to Otakon. I'd hope you already had your badge and room booked though. Chibi's going to Otakon and she said that they've put a limit on how many passes they're selling this year.I've been attending Tsubasacon since 2010. This con holds a special place in my heart, since not only was it my first ever anime convention, but because it's so friendly- the staff are amazing, wonderful people. But Tsubasacon is also a smaller con, even though it's been growing each year. I believe last year had about 1,500 attendees. The venue is starting to feel a little cramped since there are some narrow hallways, but overall it's wonderful. They were going to expand the venue this year, but I believe that there was a booking issue or something so they won't be getting more space until next year. Tsubasacon, again since it's a smaller con, is pretty much like one big family. A bunch of Tsubasacon's attendees (and staff) keep in touch with each other in a close-knit facebook group even, so in a way, the con itself can be like a family reunion. I love Tsubasacon. It's like going home. I often refer to it as my home-con, xD.In comparison to Otakon though, Otakon would have WAY more to offer you in terms of their special guests, dealer's room, and artist alley.
