Another reason I think Haylor was fake/just PR (among many) is that the songs that are supposedly marketed about him (IKYWT and Style) are (and I say this lovingly) simple. Marketing Harry as a trouble maker and a song that is a play on his last name aren't that creative. If she was really dating one of the most sought after male popstars I think she would have made a bigger deal of it. She signs "everybody wants you" about joe but not Harry????

I don’t know if I’ve missed the post but why do you definitely believe Nick Grimshaw and Harry Styles dated? I’ve seen the master post and it’s all a lot of pictures of them hanging out together but I think it’s well known they were and are still friends. Harry did promo with Nick for his first solo album and so is the thought that they are still dating?

I already sent this to Nat/James but what do you think about this? Imo it stacks w their lack of chemistry. My new haylor headcanon is that they were PR, but they did hang out and stuff so he expected a hookup as any 18yo boy would (didn’t shawn say that pr couples do spend time together in a way that blurs the line between real and fake dating)?

yes pr dating can blur a bit and you can end up having some connection over than platonic. i wouldn’t be surprised if harry and taylor ended up fooling around a tiny bit. it would explain dianna shoving him. harry also wouldn’t tell just anyone they were pr so his way of telling his friends it wasn’t serious or real may have just been sharing that detail. like not everyone wants to have sex all the time or anything but taylor presents herself as a typical young woman who has sex w her partners so to me it’s very interesting harry was maybe out in the world saying that lol

What I think is interesting is Taylor has had so many English people in her life but never strongly associated England with any them whereas she legit was like 🇺🇸 🇬🇧 with Lily. She was suddenly obsessed with contrast between the states and england. Like Cara is right there, she’s literally british royalty but she only starts associating it with Lily and bam the theme keeps popping up in her songs.

oh wait that is true and interesting... she dates harry over two albums and not a stitch of uk imagery (besides "i guess you're in london today" and HE WASN'T EVEN IN LONDON)
