“Let’s see now,“ Hertz casually began.
The girl swiftly brought her hands to chest level to count off on the fingers while listing her reasons. The entire time, her right foot tapped away at the ground. “One, I’m a villain or at least somethin’ pretty bad. I’ve been called a walkin’ crime against humanity, a monster, and all that good stuff before.“
“Two, you guys are pretty cool with the stuff you’ve been doin’. Really stickin’ it to all those big wigs sittin’ on their high horses, tryin’ to tell everyone what to do.“
“Three, it’s safer for me. Quirk ain’t so good for fights. I ain’t too good in straight fights either unless I get to nom on someone.“
“Now I know what you’re probably thinkin’. I probably sound like dead weight, a liability, unwanted baggage, et cetera. First, that’s pretty hurtful and second, boy do I have news for you!“
Hertz smiled and pointed her thumb at herself, bringing it almost to her chest. “I got the magic touch. When I’m around, people can’t help but wanna do what I say.“
