This illustration entitled, "A Warning to the Tardy One", by cartoonist Clifford Berryman, which appeared in the Washington Evening Star on December 22, 1915, is a message of advice not to wait until the last moment to do your Christmas shopping. Father Time in an old car nearly knocks down a pedestrian holding his Christmas shopping list.
