perhaps this is putting in MORE EFFORT than necessary. this kid’s done more HARM than good, killing people left and right. frank should just kill him. kill him and get it over with, but there’s a problem --- he’s JUST A KID. he’s hardly twenty. the boy just became an adult, and frank can’t kill him because of that. not when he’s so young.

THAT is why he puts in this effort. goes the distance to KIDNAP him only to drag him into his safe house’s basement. he’s tied him to a chair, and other than the nasty bruise that’s going to be on this kid’s head he doesn’t plan on hurting him any further. SCARING him, though....

          “benjamin whitmore!” the name is barked, and it’s not just her eye sight that is immediately locked on his back. debra clicks her safety off, and steadies her aim on him. “this is miami metro police... put your gun on the floor, slowly, then turn around and face me. don’t make me tell you again.” @decimaticn

She was late getting home, which was unusual for her, but necessary for once. She’d stayed later with one of her students who needed some extra help; she was glad to do it and she didn’t mind a little deviation to her schedule, though her neighbor might become concerned if she was too late on a weeknight.

She left her car parked in the driveway, making her way to the side door that led into her kitchen until something new stopped her. A motorbike parked in her neighbor’s driveway. Had someone rented the efficiency that had been advertised? She paused, her curiosity getting the best of her as she peered at the foreign object in such familiar surroundings. A motorbike... Who did it belong to?

She didn’t have to wonder for long. Her curiosity was rewarded for once because not long after she’d stopped, someone exited her neighbor's house through the efficiency’s private entrance, a young man, not from around town, a drifter maybe? Or maybe he was moving into town and needed a place to stay until he could get his roots down? 

She smiled warmly when he noticed her, offering a small wave, “You renting Mrs. Anderson’s room?”
