During our 365 year celebration of everything Black and indigenous it is important to remember, honor and validate who we are as Black people. We aren’t ignorant at the fact that many appalling actions happened during the Revolution and afterwards to ensure the continuation of Haitian sovereignty, however if you continue to look at it with a Westernized view than you do yourself more harm then good. We are completely outraged that anyone would compare one of such low caliber of a human being, “45” to Martin Luther King, Jr. who was assassinated for speaking against racial oppression and poverty injustice. 45 is no where in the league, no where, none and to compare this low energy, low frequency to someone who gave their life for liberty!
