Today was quite an Awesome day!! Conducted a workshop on "Imagined Futures in Black Girl Nerdland" for the Empowering Women of Color Conference. And let me tell you...This group of amazing people fed my soul!! During our workshop we embraced what it means to be a #BlackGirlNerd, created a "SuperBlackGirlNerd" super hero character named Genesis Selah (by day) and YaYa Obsidian (by night/ alter ego), compiled our Featured Girl Crush list, a #SuperBlackGirlNerd playlist, and a #SuperBlackGirlNerd movie list. Such a fun and therapeutic workshop!
