Ingredients: 2 racks of baby back ribs. 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1 cup cornstarch. 1 tablespoon garlic powder. 1 tablespoon onion powder. 1 teaspoon smoked paprika. 1 teaspoon salt. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. 4 cups vegetable oil for frying. 1 cup barbecue sauce. 1/4 cup honey. 2 tablespoons soy sauce. 2 tablespoons rice vinegar. 1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce. Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish.
Instructions: Get the deep fryer ready by heating it up to 375F 190C. Separate the racks of ribs into single ribs. Add the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper to a bowl and mix them together. Be sure to coat each rib evenly with the flour mixture. Carefully put the ribs into the hot oil and fry them for about 5 to 7 minutes per batch, until they are golden brown and crispy. Before putting the ribs on a paper towel-lined plate to drain, take them out of the oil. Put honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, Sriracha, and barbecue sauce in a saucepan. Warm the sauce up until it gets a little thicker. After the ribs are fried, coat them well with the sticky barbecue sauce. Before serving, top with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
