Recently learned about the planned backstory for Cassia and Clove, and joked with @riftclaw that they’re secretly riftclaws

And then my hand slipped and whoops their markings actually lend themselves well to the design

Cassia and Clove Headcanons

Their mother was/is an avid gardener and she was the one that came up with their names.

Clove takes up a hobby of gardening from her mother and was her main assistant when she was younger. When Cassia’s illness kicked in she had to stop to care for her and her new duties as an Egg Boss means she can’t pick it back up, much to her disappointment.

(@nuttyrabbit​, just for you) When she’s visiting Yurashia on business Conquering Storm lets her work in her Zen Garden while she meditates/trains which Clove enjoys.

Clove has a guilty pleasure of spending money on an expensive horn wax to make hers look that much shinier. She later finds out Axel does it too using the male version of the product. (The wax is exactly the same but one come in a blue bottle and the other pink)

Cassia actually met and fought Sally long before the events of Hidden Costs ... online. They couldn’t tell because of their usernames but NuttyQueenInTraining01 found herself yelling at the screen as !Fraghappyveni$on! tore though her every move.

Her cybernetic eyes and ears allow her to adapt to changes in light and sound far quicker than others. This can be applied to give her night vision, enhanced hearing and filter out intense light and sound that would leave anyone else disorientated.

May come up with more in the future.
