That's it, that's the post. Do it, there's nothing stopping you.
I mean, why not? "She's not fat"? Absurd. Stretch marks are not a weight exclusive phenomena, anyone can have them. They're scar tissue from the skin rapidly stretching. That is literally what they are.
"She can't scar"? Bullshit, PaTD proves you wrong immediately.
"They're ugly?" Not even gonna humor that response. Balderdash. Poppycock.
"She doesn't have them in-game"? She ALSO doesn't have freckles, stripes, eyeshadow, or clinically oversized bonhanagahoogs. Yet people draw her with them anyway!
There's nothing I love more in STP fan art than when you make things your own in the little details.
Giving Prisoner dark eyeshadow?? Making quiet be slightly chubby, or even just full on fat?? Hell. Yes. Little nods to each other in their designs, like the blade being white and the chains being brown?? (I know they are by default, but I mean it in the manner of "They carry a piece of one another") Make these little guys your own!! Add to the established canvas!!
As we all know, the further you travel down each Princess's individual line, the more "her influence" spreads. From the basement and cabin, and into the woods.
I had a thought: what if it didn't stop there? What if "her influence" also spread to YOU?
Now, I know why canonically this wouldn't work. TLQ represents stagnation, and thus cannot change. (Even though he kinda can, him being a living contradiction and all) But, since "her influence" is really just OUR PERCEPTION, I think we could bypass that!
By this, I mean that OUR PERCEPTION of ourselves in any story, possibly influenced by the voices, could alter or outright completely change something about our physical appearance.
Here's how I picture it:
In Happily Ever After, our outfit or appearance would change to something a little regal. Likely via Smitten's hand. Our nails might get shorter, we get more humanesque in appearance, things like that. Think Bird-Disney-Prince.
Conversely, in a chapter like Thorn, we'd get more monsterous. Nasty. Bigger, and more crooked. That would make our willingness to change, and to mend our relationship have an additional layer of emotion! "Though I'm a terrible beast, I still only want to help/love you."
Going down this line of thought, MOC's Quiet could be bare bones. Him having tried everything, or feeling hollow. Apotheosis could look like a paladin or priest, some kind of religious figure or fighter.
I consider PatD's Quiet a potential example of this idea. Since in Spectre, right before we die, we see a peek of our face. Much smaller, and more hummingbird-like than our appearance in the following chapter itself.
(I might draw some examples if people are interested)
