My photography isn't perfect and that is my intention. In this day and age, a lousy photo can be taken into Photoshop and completely transformed into a fantastic image. Now, don't get me wrong, Photoshop is great and I use it often. However, I chose to leave most of my images untouched. I like to think that I get lucky with most of my shots and even though they could be even better after being put in Photoshop, I chose to leave them. Why? Because they reflect the moment the shot was taken. They are special because they are imperfect. If I took them into Photoshop, that sense of the moment they were taken disappears and they become just another Photoshopped image.

Sometimes I find its better to rely on luck. Sometimes, you even get more than you bargained for. And most often of all, you end up with something very special that you can tell people with a huge smile that none of it was Photoshopped. It was all you.
