Definate aka Indrek Raag is a DJ/producer hailing from Haapsalu, Estonia. From an early age he was enchanted by his parents’ record collection, from which he first discovered his passion for music. At the age of 7, a few years after composing his first tunes on piano, he started studying the guitar and music theory, from which he developed a strong connection to blues and jazz music.  At the age of 14 he discovered Breakbeat and Jungle music, finding magic in reese basslines and amen drums. It wasn’t long before he became enchanted with 172bpm music, started collecting records and DJing, and working his way up to playing gigs alongside the likes of Calyx&Teebe, Break, Kryptic Minds, Future Prophecies etc. From there, turning to music production was a natural progression. Definate’s production can be described as a battle of balancing the dark and the light side of Drum&Bass, forcing the deepest and nastiest basslines square off with lush pads and organic soundscapes. With his production already being played on internet radios like Bassdrive and Estonia's national radio R2, Definate has already generated a steady interest in both listeners and record labels alike.
