504 Foolin'
Liberty has been pretty distant from JT since school started. And that's distant as in physically, if you know what I mean. That distance becomes emotional when she doubts his sense of responsibility. He thinks she's overbearing but it turns out she's worried. Worried because she's pregnant. JT doesn't want to believe it and he gets the opportunity to embrace his denial when he learns that Liberty hasn't actually taken a pregnancy test but he buys one and, well, she is. Liberty doesn't think JT can be practical - all the things she loves about him are things that make him seem like the least likely candidate for father of the year. The lack of trust from Liberty is a deal breaker for JT and he dumps his pregnant girlfriend. (It sounds worse than it is. She really was being kind of unreasonable) He comes back with a job and the two don't exactly get back together but they both decide to commit to the baby.
Spinner is retaking English... again. Where he meets Darcy (and makes up a story about his dog having cancer. Foreshadowing much?). She invites him to Friendship Club, a Christian group. He tries to keep her from learning the extent of his involvement in the shooting, but the truth comes out. Somehow the unlikely pair still likes each other.
