Love the Degrassi gate. I’ve seen Next Gen, up on through to the Netflix series, lots of favorite moments but I have to say the Coyne siblings really pointed out to me in high school that I’m bi 😂

whew, i haven’t been in the bb21 tag in a minute, but since there’s a degrassi gate going on i will say:

1) cam and maya fans, lemme hear y’all make some noise (z*ya fans stay quiet)

2) ecl*re was a toxic ship/eli and clare were overrated and you can debate me physically on that opinion

3) the top four seasons were 4, 12, 7, and 10

also, hehe, ask me degrassi questions — ive seen season 1 - next class 2 so i have thots™️

Ooh are we doing Degrassi gate? I have to mention this everytime someone mentions Degrassi TNG. My head cannon is Emma and Spencer didn’t stay married after Sean returned from the Army and she divorced Spencer for good and married Sean, the end. What was that? Who’s idea was it to put Emma and Spencer together? Spencer should of stayed with Jane and Emma and Sean were always meant to be.

Edit: I just realized I said Spencer instead of a Spinner .

As much as I liked degrassi,I hated the way the way they wrote for some of the black characters at times especially Shay in new class she was so boring and they made her so unlike able in new class

Hey anon! Sorry I’m so late answering this I didn’t even get a notification I had a message. But you’re right! There’s always been a certain... mistreatment to the writing of some if not most of the POC characters of Degrassi especially some of the black ones. Shay is a really good example of that and she honestly could have been one of the better characters if she had just been written better ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
