Part 3 of my Majoras Mask styled alternate world for BotW! Something a bit different, and not rooted (heh) in BotW - decided to shove all the various Forest Creatures into one big pokemon family. Baba -> Korok -> Scrub -> Kokori/Skullkid. Had a lot of fun adapting the Deku Princess from Majora's Mask to fit with the new ideas~

I've missed the Deku Scrubs for so long and was thrilled to see them back in Echoes of Wisdom. Awesome little guys deserve more love (and should have been in Botw/TotK. Like yeah, the Rito redesign is far improved from Windwaker but, cmon. Scrubs are just way cooler than Bird!)

Linktober Day 4 - Nostalgia

When I was around 10, Skyward Sword was technically the first Zelda game I touched. I played on my mum’s unfinished save file running around Faron Woods killing these guys with the motion controls with no clue what the objective was ᐠ( ᐛ )ᐟ

I am back with more art of my favourite fic, you guessed it, Shadowed by @not-freyja and @gia-d

okay so generally this was so fucking challenging but like in a fun way. i really locked in and drew this over only three days, of which i did the majority just today.

anyways yes procreate says this took me eight hours and forty minutes, which not only beats smy previous record on any drawing of eight hours thirty but also beats my record for the longest time ive spent on a shadowed fanart (2hrs 16min)

i really love the way the lighting turned out in the end, as well as how i managed the pose. i know the deku babas grabbed his right arm or left foot (or the other way around) but as ive already done once, i changed it (this is canon now /j)

anyways this was challenging but SO fun (i know i said this just like three sentences ago) and what i really loved to do were the leaves as well as shading times armour. its so fun. dont let me draw this man. (please do)

on another note, i think the only thing i dont really like about this is the background, but mainly because i very much simplified it in a way i didnt do with the main focus, and if you look closely it actually is the forest temple from twilight princess, where they should be. i didnt check again but im very sure thats where they were. ive never played tp so if it isnt the right location, sue me, i asked google.

anyways, the blood was so fun to draw im so glad i kept that until the last moment because i really, really enjoyed doing it onto an almost-finished piece.

ill upload the speedpaint maybe some time because i really enjoyed the progress. and also. im glad procreate has the 30-second-option because the full length video is twelve minutes long.

last thing is that i really love this fic. as the authors may have noticed. i need to continue my comment saga whoops.
