Deliverable #9: Interactive Multimedia 

From Interactive Multimedia, choose one uses of it (e.g. Education, Training, Games and likes), give example of websites or application out from it and discuss a brief importance and function about it.

 Online Games like Dota, For my perspective it is important because the game is enjoyable that makes me entertain. It is important because sometimes I can use it when I need financial needs and it also helps me to communicate with my friends and have new friends. For me it have so much functions, using the virtual items that I have in the game I can sell it to change it into cash, and I believe that the game helps in my emotional and psychological matter which is good. The game helps me get closer with my friends and also find some new friends. But the main function of the games is to make a person entertained, it helps to develop mental skills and, etc.

Interactive Multimedia

Out of the uses of interactive multimedia, I prefer games because not only for entertainment, there are lessons or knowledge that you could gain from it and I can say that it is quite the same for education since you could also solve problems in games. A good example of the game I might say is the DOTA. It is an ESPORT online game in which in order for you to win, teamwork and cooperation is needed. You could also do strategic planning for you to overpower your opponents. And there are lessons you might learn when you encounter such failure in this game. As long as you are able to understand the concept of the game, you will gain more knowledge and learnings that you could apply in real life situations. But it doesn’t mean that if we can learn something from this game, you don’t need education anymore. You must need education in order for you to understand the game concept. You need to have a proper learning of some lessons or topic through education so that you can apply it in the game. And I’m not tolerating you to play DOTA all day long because it is not good for your health to stay in front of a computer being a shut-in. I am just stating my opinion that games is not just for entertainment, but also for online game learning. (PS: Not all games are good tho. Haha)

- Education, Edmodo an application for education. It let the teacher post your lecture and gives assignments, activity, an announcement to the students. It makes the teachers teaching easier and for students to study beforehand and be able to cope up with the lectures.
