Yesterday I was listening to The Unexplored Places: Deliverance, OH 41 and I kept having to pause because I was mad at Chase for not engaging (let alone flirting with :( ) the NPC Aspen and then being mean to Birdie's mom. And then I finished the episode. Paused the playlist. Drove the rest of the way in silence.

Today I went back to Friends at the Table: All Year Round, There Is Work To Do for the first time since I was taking a walk in Illinois in April.

I am so mad at Chase. I am so mad at Chase. I don't remember the last time I was this mad at a fictional character. What the fuck? What the fuck!

Edgar is slowly turning into a tree. When he first met Derwyn, he thought the faerie had cured him, but in reality it was just a glamour that has since broken. Clarence is his very kind doctor friend (who looks like Leslie Odom Jr and always wears a tux), who was staying in Edgar's city estate when he witnessed a murder in the middle of the night. Clarence fetched the journalist Cora, who roped in the medium Cassandra, who magically tugged Derwyn awake. Derwyn followed the trio in their bird form, before discreetly turning into a Welsh cricket player and being invited in by Cassandra.

Now they are all, sans Edgar, standing in Edgar's basement over a dead body. Edgar might be asleep upstairs, but he's probably at his country estate.
