For once their schedules aligned, and somehow they weren’t on Willa duty. Demir couldn’t exactly remember why they went to see a movie, but he does remember that Bianca basically bullied him into seeing it with her simply because he had never seen a single Magic Mike movie. Why would he? There were so many movies out there, and she had to choose that one. He had gotten so flustered, he couldn’t even be the one to ask for tickets for it.

Now he knew why she was so insistent. Yeah, he was totally straight. Bianca couldn’t see right through that, right? Demir felt like he would have heard about that from her if he did. Oh well, now he had to force those thoughts back down from where they came from.

“Bee,” he started while gesturing at the clock outside the theater. “Two hours? Since when did movies start being so long? That felt like 20 minutes!” Good thing Willa was in good hands!

There was always something going on, and it was always difficult for everyone’s schedules to align to see each other. Well, Demir supposed he could see Ayşen pretty easily, but Cetin was more of a mystery. But at least their parents weren’t here. Somehow, despite acting like they were put-together, were messier than all three of their children combined.

At least being together could put a smile to Demir’s face, whether they joked or not. Even though family didn’t have to be blood, he’d still choose them to be family.

And right now, he felt it was his duty to be the eldest sibling. “We all just got here, but I have so many questions.” He pointed towards Cetin, looking at him. “You still have to tell us the story you shooed away from last time we met. Was it that bad of a gig? C’mon, you gotta tell us!” Maybe this could get them in high spirits even at the possibility of lowering his brother’s dignity for a moment.
