An 18 hour flight, San Francisco to Akureyri, stuck in human form and crammed into economy class. Then a short nap in a cheap hotel until sunset and he could start his hunt. It was fruitless. The glacier had retreated, leaving land alien to his borrowed memories. Jack spread his wings and circled, searching for anything that looked familiar. The 4 AM sunrise caught him by surprise and he landed in a clump of trees by a huge house. Too tired to shift back to human form he prayed he was unseen.
Vàli, Sally and Loke enjoyed the weather in their hidden backyard. This summer was suspiciously warm for iceland, nearly 20 Grad every day, but instead of being annoyed by his jotunn nature, Loke made the best of it. His human companion Sally enjoyed to be in the nature without a jacket and the blooming garden was a wonderful view.
While Vàli and Sally climbed in the tree house, Loke sat on a bench with a cup of tea and watched them.
