2 Poni Island projects successful! We got a 2 for 1 treat in this episode with some main cast Pokémon evolving, and I’m glad to see these characters get focus and have a decent amount of screen-time. These developed for the past few episodes as sub-plots, and it all came full circle here showing Māmane’s courage go to Vast Poni Canyon and Suiren’s passion to be a better Water-type trainer with Ashimari! Sun & Moon just keeps doing it man...I personally love it.
