dude adding on to that lunch post: they refused to feed me and my brother because the little account thing was saying we didn't have money. we had to put all of our stuff back and my mom eventually came and was like 'what the fuck they're kids feed them' but the entire concept of that is so wild.

it’s so fucking disgusting, like these kids come to school for an education by LAW and you’re telling me because they’re low on money you’re not gonna feed them? i have to apply for free/reduced lunches because my family cannot provide enough money for all 5 of us to pay for half ass made food that’s horrible anyway. kids literally need to eat a well balanced lunch because it’s part of their growth which is fucking important, and the school just fucking gives kids SCRAPS when they can’t pay for their lunch?? you mean to tell me that that’s OKAY? it pisses me off so much, i could strangle a man.
