Well, for the ships thing I'm going to share one of my rare pairs, RusDen. I've been reading about their relationship over history and they have an alliance that it's going on till now, more than 500 years of friendship promising to "be one in war, travel and trade" and respect each other, there had been marriages between their monarchies and they are close trading partners, or so I've read, and I can see them getting along even if it's not in a romantic way.

Ooooh! I never saw RusDen before... But know that I'm thinking about it... Well, what a eye candy those 2 together 😍

And like you said, even if not in a romantic, I also can see them getting pretty well along 😁 Denmark has such that bright personality... He seems like a dog (I love dogs) and Russia seems more like a cat? (Cats have their pride and are territorial)... But they also have really similar traits, as deeply caring for their family and their possessions.
