Big up Sub.mission crew and the denver dubstep scene. I finally got to travel to Denver and see Mala for the first time (4 hour set!!!) with my brothers sartrist and nerdythrowups. Experiencing system culture while camping out on the Rocky Mountains was unbelievable.
Simply put, this weekend changed my life.
Much love to all the dj's that played out: Big Kid, Odd.ity, Mamuth, Berrick, Kiliji, Coult45, Omega, Shiba, Caustik, Dillard, Future Simple Project, Subliminal, Mesck, and the don himself, Mala.

Another week, another show. This past Friday, the Denver J team cruised to The Ogden for Paper Diamond and Minnesota. Getting to the venue right as TSIS’s Sorry For Partying took the stage was a great start to the night. Opening with Rustified’s remix of Pretty Lights’ ‘Hot Like Sauce’ set the crowd off and was very well mixed into Griz’s ‘Dream On’. After a solid set of huge bangers, SFP stepped aside forPB&J™ Veteran: Minnesota.
Hit the jump for photos, music and more….
With Minnesota dropping enormous tracks throughout his whole set like a super wobbly “Starry Eyed” for instance, it was no surprise why the biggest bassheads in the country were in such a frenzy. Huge night with a huge set for Minnesota. He’s making some solid moves in the dubstep industry, so take notes and keep an eye out.
Paper Diamond took the stage next in his first headlining event. Having it set in Denver was no mistake with the reception we gave him! He started his set off with the outright lowest fidelity I have ever heard; my eyesight was vibrating and my cheeks were shivering! This led quickly into a huge set that ranged from heavy and hard drops of Pretty Lights’ tracks and his own like “Wildfire” (illest drop of the night!) and “Can We Go Up”, to some more groovy beats that got the body moving. With stacks of LEDs and Spotlights to set the venue ablaze, Alex B had them perfectly tuned to what was coming out of the speakers. Pretty Lights Music is coming at the EDM scene hard, so you better watch your back, because your town is next!
