“Theater of the Mind” immersive experience by David Byrne & Mala Gaonkar (and about 100 other people who’s hard work on the production is obvious👏👏👏) Our “David” guide for the evening was Kristina Fountaine, who was amaaaazing ✨🖤) I didn’t have high expectations but this definitely was NOT disappointing. The Google reviews were mixed and I can see how it’s not for everyone. Being socially anxious, I was definitely uncomfortable at times. But thought it was worth it 👍👍 Thanks to Katrina for pushing my out of my comfort zone as usual (though at times I think she was more mortified than I was 🤣) Anyhow, don’t expect “meow wolf” due to the word “immersive”. It is more immersive theater, a term which makes my skin crawl 😅 BUT like I said totally worth it; the themes and content were right up my alley.
