Vacation things ❤️

Today, Y/N felt extra soft and sweet, her heart overflowing with love—and maybe just a little bit of baby fever. She and her husband had decided to take their precious daughter to the Cayes while visiting Y/N’s family in Belize. The sun was warm, the breeze gentle, and the sound of the waves was like a lullaby calling them closer.

As they got dressed and walked down to the beach—just a short stroll from their hotel—Y/N couldn’t help but smile at their little girl. From the moment they arrived, she had been completely mesmerized by the ocean, her big, curious eyes locked onto the sparkling water. It reminded Y/N so much of herself as a child, standing at the shore with the same look of pure wonder.

When it was finally time to swim, they carried their daughter down to the water’s edge, letting her dip her tiny toes into the cool waves. She let out the sweetest little gasp, her lips forming an ‘O’ before she turned to her dad with the brightest, happiest smile. Then, with wobbly little steps, she toddled over to him, lifting her chubby arms and making grabby hands.

Her husband let out a soft laugh, eyes full of love as he scooped her up. "Oh, you want Daddy, huh?" he teased, bouncing her gently in his arms as he stepped into the water. Their daughter let out a delighted squeal, clutching onto him as if he was her whole world.

"Such a daddy’s girl," Y/N said fondly, watching them with a full heart. She waded into the water to join them, but for their daughter, nothing else existed except the safety of her daddy’s arms and the excitement of splashing in the sea.

Her husband turned to Y/N with a knowing smirk. "What can I say? She knows who the fun parent is."

Y/N gasped playfully, pretending to be offended. "Excuse me?"

He chuckled, pressing a kiss to their daughter’s cheek as she giggled. "I mean, look at her. The second her little feet touched the water, she came straight to me. She already knows Daddy’s got her."

Y/N rolled her eyes but couldn’t stop the smile that spread across her lips. "Oh, please. Let’s be real—you’re Samoan, and I’m Belizean. Did you really think we wouldn’t have a water baby?"

Her husband laughed, shaking his head as their daughter splashed her tiny hands in the water. "Yeah, yeah, I should’ve known. She was born for this."

Y/N sighed happily, leaning into him as they stood in the water together, completely wrapped up in this perfect little moment. Their baby, their love, their happiness—right here in the waves, where they all belonged.
