Quick Review
The Denver Broncos beat the Seattle Seahawks Patriots 27-24. The Broncos overcame several mistakes and won by a hair, but the defense was really impressive.

Both of these teams had terrible seasons last year, but after one week, the Broncos look to be the better team.
The game is at home which benefits Denver.
The one issue the Broncos might have going into this game, which sounds strange, is overconfidence.

Quick Review
The Denver Broncos lost to the Cincinnati Bengals 17-20. The team played better on offense, but that’s easy to do when your offense ranks dead last in offensive production since week 2. The Broncos only hope was for Andy Dalton to throw one of his “winterceptions”, but he didn’t. The Broncos defense is in off season mode already.
The real sting of this game is that the teams had identical records going in and the Broncos couldn’t win. I wonder if they could beat Cleveland. In a ‘normal year’, I would say the Broncos should win 5 of their 6 remaining games. Among the remaining games, I think the best chance for a Bronco win is against the Colts.

Despite getting the offense to play better, the Brock experiment is over. Vance Joseph has officially moved on to Paxton Lynch. Brock’s season ends with 0 wins in 3 games.

Starting a new quarterback creates that feeling baseball fans get on April 1st. There’s a feeling of hope for the future as the unknown guy finally gets a chance to play.
Quick Review
The Buffalo Bills handed the Broncos their loss of the year. The “no fly zone” looked old and slow. Vance Joseph attempted the first trick play of the year, a fake punt that went nowhere. The number one rushing attack in the NFL abandoned the run early. The Bronco wide receivers had a hard time getting open. If I had been able to screenshot some of Trevor’s completions, you’d see four or five defenders surrounding each wide receiver on almost every completion.

Not many divisional games have been played this season, but here’s a snapshot of 2017 vs 2016. This year Kansas City is +14 points in the division. Denver is +3. Los Angeles is -17. Now that you know those numbers lets look back at 2016 and see why Kansas City won the west. Kansas City ended the year +66, Denver ended -18, Los Angeles -22, and Oakland was the worst at -26.

Both quarterbacks seem to be playing scared this season. This has resulted in ‘fast release’ times and short plays.
Outlook
