Jacob took nothing from the Seed house when the police came to take them into foster care. He had no personal belongings that he felt any emotional attachment to.

He started smoking cigarettes in the juvenile detention center. It’s a habit that never really stuck until after he came home from the war.

Jacob’s favorite subject in school was History.

If he would have went to high school Jacob would have played football.

     Didn't reallybelieve in one. Wasn't completely signed on the idea to begin with,and she certainly didn't believe in a God that would be okaywith...what happened to her in His name. Joey can't help butfeel the tension in her shoulders, casting a look over at the otherwoman as she let a small smile cross her face.

“Up you get, c’mon.” Rook’s hand held tight to the other deputy’s, using whatever strength he had left to help the woman up over the edge. Down below, there’s disaster. Crashed trucks, wild animals darting across the road, and cultists yelling about finding the two escaped deputies. good. That means they lost sight of them.

That means they won’t have to WORRY.

Once Harker was safely on top of the mountain with him, Rook lets her hand go in favor of picking his bow back up from the ground, slinging his favored weapon over his shoulder without a second thought. They had to keep moving if they were to stay out of the cultist’s hands. There was so much they had to do and so LITTLE time to complete it.

But still, Rook made sure to show worry.

“You okay? Did you get hurt at all back there?” He tilts his head downwards, gaze swiftly looking over her form to make sure there weren’t any VISIBLE wounds. There were none HE could see at least. Down below, Rook heard shouting. The cultists hadn’t quite noticed where the two of them had darted off to, but they were still yelling for reinforcements before things got too badly out of hand. 

Too late for THEM.

Not in This for Your Revolution; Jacob isn’t as religious as his siblings, and it’s implied that he’s just paying lip service to the cult so he can survive the end of the world with his family.

Big Brother Instinct; Jacob was very protective of his younger siblings and he stood up to his parents frequently. He also went against Joseph because he believes that he could of prevented the corrupting influences.

Straw Nihilist; He sees his role as a soldier as his divine purpose and holds no fear of death. He doesn’t believe in heroes and believes that destruction is a natural and endless cycle.
