So yeah hello there! I'm sorry for the long unexpected hiatus, I hit an art drought and irl obligations really picked up so I got overwhelmed 😭 I'm slowly getting back in the groove of things, starting with this event hosted by @derek-week-event !

Derek Week Day One: Pinky Promise

Entry for the first day of @derek-week-event ‘s Derek Week! I wanted to just start with something moderately simple that also visually portrays the warmth and coziness that I associate with Luella and Derek’s relationship. The other pieces will probably have their actual faces and appearances LOL

I also liked the idea of giving Derek a bandaid because I personally think that, given all the sports he was in, and his active family, he’d get quite a bit of scratches and cuts.

Also I think Luella’s chipped nail polish is very cute for her younger self…

Day 2: Hanging Out Wren is pretty competitive and really into sports, like Derek! So it makes sense why they would really get along when they were younger. @derek-week-event One day I'll spend more then a minute on colouring and rendering... Also shoutout to the clipart soccer ball because I couldn't be bothered (((°▽°)八(°▽°)))♪ Also yes, that's Cove and my Cove MC, Kel, in the background. Cove: Why are we even here?? Kel: IDK but do you wanna make daisy chains? *Wren and Derek playing some serious soccer*
