This gorgeous loft was designed for a man with a cat. I wish the pictures would post larger, to show how spectacular it is.

From this perspective you can see the kitchen straight thru.

There’s the cat, probably trying to figure out how to get up there to bat the lights around.

From the kitchen you can see stairs to the bedroom, which they don’t show.

Outside is a large, private deck space.

This professionally decorated loft is so beautifully done. Love the table and mismatched chairs.

You don’t usually see drapes in lofts b/c they have huge windows, but it does soften the look. They chose casual furniture and a checkered feature wall.

The casual living room area is warm and contemporary. The oversized spotlight, rocking chair, shabby-chic red metal chairs, thick rug, asymmetric sculpture and trendy sofa, is all you need to make a living room area super chic and mellow.

The kitchen is smart and functional. It has at least 3 ovens. The red lacquer wall and shiny black Smeg refrigerator bring the wow factor.

The bedroom is draped in plush fabrics. It’s very restful in the evening.

But, by day, it takes on a different look and has a pop of red from a corner chair.

Overlooking the bedroom is a home office. The red lanterns hanging throughout are reminiscent of hot air balloons.

The bathroom has a modern take on a clawfoot tub against a sleek shiny black wall. Worn-look exotic tiles provide contrast.

The old painted brick wall in the hall, and the floor, are the only hints at the age of the building. Modern frosted glass doors were installed to give the space a contemporary flair.

What a cool apt. in Moscow- the building was a former tea packing plant that was converted to lofts. The owner hired designer Marina Grigoryan to decorate it.

At the entrance, Marina painted a pretty graphic design, put down softly colorful tiles, and wood flooring for the rest of the space.

The original plan was to leave the brick walls original and paint the pipes black, but the brick was crumbling, so she painted it white. The kitchen cabinets were made-to-order and Marina wanted it bright blue in a finish that would stay brilliant.

She had lots of storage built, and kept it flush to the wall, so it didn’t intrude on the space. A fridge was placed in the island and the striped graphic represents a road.

The lightweight metal arches that separate the rooms match the shape of the windows.

To keep costs down, all the furniture was purchased at IKEA.

In the small bath, Marina was able to carve out a niche w/a frosted glass door, to make a storage closet. This loft is so cute!
