Toyformers: Figures In Disguise | Various! Mini! Transformers x Reader
I'm aware that I'm not the first person to come up with this idea, nor will I probably be the last, but DAMN. This idea just got me hooked, idk what to tell you!! Anyways, the continuity is kept vague, so imagine them looking like your favorite TF media/designs. If your favorite TF media/designs don't have a toyline, pretend that they do!
Synopsis: You've been a Transformers fan for a while, and started collecting toys of your favorite characters out of love for the franchise. Gradually, you've expanded from your favorites to the rest of the cast; before one day you finally get the one toy you were missing to complete your collection. Unfortunately, your good day turns slightly less good when you realize that these little guys are actually sentient.
Content: GN pronouns, human! reader, the bots are toy sized, reader lives alone, i'm personally not a toy collector so this might not be accurate to how real collectors behave, slight crack vibes, im just having fun lmao
Today is a good day.
You feel like you should use a bigger word considering what you have in your hands, but honestly, it doesn't matter. Great, fantastic, pleasant, whatever. What matters is that you finally got what you wanted, and that meant today is good.
Yeah, that's right. After ages of saving up, you had enough money to get the very last toy for your Transformers collection. Which, sure, sounds like a super nerdy thing to be excited over—but come on! You deserve to be excited!
You've been collecting Transformers toys for years now, and you've been a fan for even longer. What can you say? The franchise just has you hooked. Hooked enough to save and spend your money over and over again on figurines of your favorite characters. Time went on, and you figured, why not get the rest of the cast?
Which leads you to now. Walking back to your house carrying a plastic bag, the final piece for your collection carefully tucked inside.
There's a noticeable pep in your step as you open the door and lock it behind you. Immediately heading to your room, you carefully reach in the plastic bag and pull out... Him.
Optimus Prime. Yup, ironically enough, you were saving him for last. There wasn't any real reason, other than it felt oddly fitting for the big guy himself to complete your unfinished set.
Unboxing the toy, you can't help the beaming smile that grows on your face as you hold him in your hands. Is it too dramatic to say that you're cradling him the way one cradles a sacred idol? Or perhaps a precious gem that you intend on treasuring? Probably. But you can't deny that there's something reverent in your touch as you place him down with the rest of the figurines on their dedicated desk.
Yes, dedicated desk. These guys have their own desk that you use to display them. The entire thing is covered with your figurines, one side belonging to the Autobots, and the other, the Decepticons. All lovingly handled and placed with the care of an artist painting their muse onto a canvas.
Setting down Optimus between Bumblebee and Ratchet, you take a step back and bask in your fully completed Transformers toy collection. The surge of pride and satisfaction fills your every vein. You're pretty sure this is how Greek sculptors feel like after finishing a statue.
Grabbing your phone, you snap a few photos that afterwards, you deem good enough to share online. Might as well share your excitement with everyone else, right? You type out a caption for your post and begin to make your way out your room.
Buuut not without casting one last glance to your toy-filled desk. Gotta get at least one more dopamine hit before you go.
The missing piece in your puzzle. The last one to arrive.
Your gaze sweeps over every Autobot, Decepticon, even the niche characters you managed to snag, and your chest puffs out in fulfillment—before your eyes land on Optimus Prime.
Your pause mid-step, lingering in the doorway.
... For a second, a brief second, there's a fragile silence in the air. Like the entire room went still, holding its breath. Waiting. Watching.
........
Then you turn around and step out, shutting the door behind you. Oblivious to the earlier tension in the room, if there even was any. Pocketing your phone, you idly think about what to eat for dinner later. Something affordable, probably. OP wasn't exactly cheap, after all!
In the meantime, you settle on your couch and turn on the TV for some mindless entertainment. Sighing contentedly, you lean back into the cushions and relax.
Today really is a good day.
....
Back in your room, the tiny finger of Optimus Prime twitches.
----
Noise is what wakes you up.
Weirdly enough, it's not the sound of your show (which has long since been replaced with some kind of reality TV episode your grandma would watch), nor is it the low buzz of your phone telling you your order is on its way. What actually woke you up was the soft thunk of something hitting the floor.
You strain your ears, wondering if the sound was a sleep-induced auditory hallucination. Did it come from outside? But it can't have been—it was so close. A pin dropping in silence, so to speak.
It almost sounded like... It came from your room.
...Wait.
Your room.
Adrenaline zaps you awake. If that weird sound didn't send you into high alert, that realization did.
Because that means someone could be in your room. With your figurines.
Oh HELL no.
You don't care if it's a thief or a stray animal that somehow got into your home. If they even put a singular FINGERPRINT on the toys that you PAID FOR, you are committing a murder.
But wait. Let's not get too overzealous here. On the chance that there is a thief in your room right now, you can't just burst inside unarmed. You love your collection, but you also love not dying.
Slowly, you get up from your couch, making sure to grab your phone and put it on silent. You sneak away, trying to find some kind of weapon to use. A kitchen knife will have to do. Do you know how to use it? Not really, but maybe your fight or flight instincts can take over from there.
Hefting the knife in one hand, and your phone in the other, your thumb hovers over the final number for the police if things go wrong. You might be a bit paranoid right now, but you also don't really care.
Creeping towards the door to your bedroom, you listen in. You don't really hear...
Inhaling deeply to calm your nerves, you brace yourself.
No wait- there is something. Voices. A lot of them. And apparently, they're getting into an argument. But they sound... Distant?
They're definitely inside your room, but these guys must be the quietest fighters ever or something, because wow. You're not sure how someone can yell a death threat and sound so small.
Here goes nothing.
Bursting through the door, you point the knife in your hands in what you hope is a threatening manner, scowling hard.
"If you even put one hand on those figures, I swear I will fucking-"
Then you stop. The rest of the threat chokes in your throat as you survey the scene.
Your toys. The Transformers. They're...
They're moving.
They're all frozen now, staring up at you with wide painted optics. But you saw their heads swivel in your direction when you burst in. Not to mention the fact that they're all scattered throughout the room right now; some on the floor, some on your bed, some are on the other separate desk that you use for storing non-transformer things.
They all look like they're in the middle of a battle. A toy sized battle. In your room.
Moving by themselves.
"Um," One of them speaks up. Your eyes snap towards... Optimus Prime. Who seemed to have frozen in the middle of fighting Megatron, who's gaze flickers from you to him.
You stare at them all, speechless. Autobot, Decepticon, even the niche characters– you look at them and they look at you.
What?
"Please don't be alarmed," Optimus tries to assure you. Hearing his deep voice come from a toy made out of plastic is surreal. "We mean no harm to you. We-"
He glances around and realizes how contradictory his words are. And for the first time... You see Optimus Prime falter.
He looks up at you.
"We will explain."
...Oh boy.
This is the type shit I be doing instead of homework dawg wtf 🥀🥀 THIS MIGHT BE THE MOST I'VE EVER WRITTEN IN TWO DAYS I'M GONNA BE FOR REAL.. WHAT THE HELL ARE THESE ROBOTS DOING TO ME!!
Anyways, I hope you guys enjoyed! I might write a part 2? If you guys r interested?? Because I do have more ideas... Idk, I keep seeing concepts floating around for the bots being toys, but they're mostly drabbles/headcanons. So I put a one shot into the mix, because why not!! This was mostly a warm up to get back into writing on here as well, soo... Ok I'm rambling at this point!! HOPE YOU GUYS ENJOYED RAHHH RAHHH on the off chance u want more erm... Idk reblog or ask about it in my inbox bcs ill happily yap
✨✨ I’m making/writing a story where Master Yoketron adopts a little sparkling, (Y/n) now going on small adventures in Yoketrons dojo. Made a few sketches for the story. Also I haven’t uploaded a lot cause my tablet broke, so I’m saving for a new one. But for the time being my little brother is letting me use his.
(i may add to this/change things in the future! the au belongs to my friend @muletia ! some merformers don’t have special mating rituals, so if you see one without a courtship ritual, this is why, and they simply court like regular merformers.)
OPTIMUS PRIME (BLUE WHALE/SPERM WHALE)
as a blue whale…
in real life, male blue whales produce complex songs to attract females and establish dominance! this carries onto Optimus himself, making a unique song for his fated mate! as a human, while you may not understand his language nor his intentions, it’s flattering he’d want to sing for you! if you hum/whistle back, expect to be dragged into the water, since you accepted the whales courting song <3
as a sperm whale…
in real life, sperm whale mating involves males competing for females through "jousting" or "sperm whale fencing," where they clash heads to establish dominance, and females may choose the strongest male. Males migrate to warmer waters to breed, but Optimus doesn’t participate in this because he has you <3 he will also fight off any Decepticons or Autobots (he always apologizes to his comrades after) trying to court you until you accept his mating attempts.
RATCHET (SEA LION/WALRUS/CLOWNFISH)
as a sea lion…
in real life, female sea lions initiate courtship and copulation by displaying submissive postures in front of the male, and males are polygamous, mating with more than one female, and maintain territories during the breeding season of May to August, with territorial behavior. merformers however only have one mate, so theirs is a little different. males often fight for territory and protect it, waiting for their mates. usually in their territories are their dens, where they will protect their pups once their mates gives birth, and will protect that den with their lives, especially if they have a mate and pups to protect! if you so happen to be in a submissive posture in front if Ratchet, he may take it as a mating invitation and mount you.
as a walrus…
In real life, adult males make taps, knocks, pulses, and bell sounds underwater to attract females and show superiority. Fighting occur/ between males who “joust” with their tusks, with mating takes place in the water. So for Ratchet, he’ll fight off any other ‘potential mates’ until you accept his mating attempts, where he’ll take you under the water to mate, before taking you to his den.
as a clownfish…
Males attract females through courting behavior characterized by extended fins, biting, and chasing. During spawning, the males become increasingly aggressive. When spawning begins, the male will chase the female to the nest at which time the female will make several passes over the nest until she releases her eggs. In merformers, the female usually passes out after spawning due to exhaustion, where their mate will care for them and the eggs or young (if they give live birth) until they wake up, watching over the eggs/young is shared between parents, one protecting them while the other hunts. For Ratchet, expect him to be following or chasing you around the island and in water, gently nipping and biting at you until you accept his mating attempts!
ARCEE (SEA OTTER)
In real life, Mating is aquatic and often involves violent and prolonged copulations during which the male approaches the female from behind and grasps her face and nose with his teeth, sometimes pulling her head underwater while attempting to subdue her, and will mate with her near taking and on a haulout rock of the female's choosing. So once its mating season, beware of entering the water with Arcee, as she may approach you from behind and begin her mating behavior, even dragging you towards a rock to mate. She’ll make it up to you after, however <3
SMOKESCREEN & BUMBLEBEE (SEALS)
In real life, males initiate true mating behavior by chasing, neck- and flipper-biting, and embracing. When approached, females respond by growling, head-thrusting, and flipper-waving. Copulation usually takes place in the water. For Smokescreen, he may be more or less aggressive, constantly biting, chasing, and embracing you until you accept his advances, with Bumblebee being a bit more gentle since he’s afraid of actually hurting you.
BULKHEAD (MANATEE/SEA TURTLE)
as a manatee…
Mating takes place in the water in a variety of postures. Breeding herds consist of one cow in estrus accompanied by several bulls. An estrus female can be pursued for weeks by several males. The cow often twists and turns violently, apparently to escape her suitors. While Bulkhead isn’t in a breeding herd since almost everyone left the island, during mating season, expect Bulkhead to mate with you as soon as you enter the water, he will apologize after though.
as a sea turtle…
In real life, The male sea turtle climbs onto the female turtle’s back and holds on to her carapace with the long, sharp claws of his front flippers. The way he hooks on to the edge of the female’s shell often results in a scratched shell and bleeding wounds in the soft parts of her body. Copulation can take place on the surface or under water. Because of this, you aren’t safe on land, so be careful! While Bulkhead will try to be gentle with you, it’s hard with his claws.. after mating, he will tend to any wounds he may have left behind.
WHEELJACK (SWORDS-FISH)
In real life, males use their gonopodium to fertilize females, who can store sperm for later use, enabling multiple births from a single mating session. However, since merformers only have one mate for their entire lives, swordsfish merformers will fight for their mates to ward off any potential mates but also as a show of strength, so expect Wheeljack to fight with the others often, to showing off his strength as a potential mate. Please just accept his courtship advances, the poor Autobots already have to fight off the Decepticons they don’t need to deal with a horny and aggressive swordsfish merformer </3
MEGATRON (LEOPARD SEAL/ORCA)
as a leopard seal…
In real life, during mating season, the females and males make long-distance mating calls to each other, and during mating, growl at each other continuously, sometimes the male even bites the other. So be careful humming or whistling too close to Megatron during mating season, as he may think of it as a mating call and you’ll end up being bred by the horny seal.
as a orca/killer whale…
In real life, mating behavior involves both males and females having multiple partners, with mating occurring within stable social groups (pods) and often appearing similar to general play behavior, including chasing, physical contact, and fluke slaps! Since Megatron considers the Decepticons his ‘pod’, expect them to be around most of the mating process, and with Megatron chasing or touching you until you accept his advances!
STARSCREAM (SAILFISH)
In real life, unlike other billfish, sailfish have a unique mating ritual where females attract males by waving their sails above the surface. Spawning occurs with males and females swimming in pairs or with two or three males chasing a single female, male-female pairs form and reproduce through external fertilization, where the female releases her eggs into the water column while the male releases his sperm, which some sailfish may do if they don’t feel like carrying the eggs to term. At first, after ‘courting’ you (aka you just showing off something to Starscream and him mistaking it for courting), Starscream may at first attempt said external fertilization, only to be confused when you don’t produce eggs. Eventually he mates with you regularly after recovering from his embarrassment.
SOUNDWAVE (OCTOPUS/STRINGRAY)
as an octopus…
In real life, when it’s mating time, the male will stand in an arched posture and use a pumping action to maneuver their spermatophore (a along the length of the arm which holds rows of sperm called a spermatophore) down their arm till it lands safely in their hectocotylus (basically the ‘sex arm’, since octopi have no genitals) Their sperm packets travel down their arm about every 15 minutes during an hour-long mating period. Then, a male will mount a female’s mantle in the hopes of making a quick getaway in case she changes her mind while he’s making his sperm deposit. Males must proceed with caution and be tactical in their approach because some female octopuses have cannibalistic tendencies. Because of such, expect Soundwave to be very cautious during mating you, as he also would not want to be eaten, so he will pin you down and restrain you during mating, but will be very gentle as to not cause you harm. After mating however, expect him to be very attentive, at times forcing you to eat if he must. This is because female octopuses usually die after the eggs hatch (in real life female octopuses protect the eggs she lay, but for merformers carey eggs most of the time until they hatch or lay them a week or two before) because she doesn’t eat, and Soundwave doesn’t want you to die! You’re his mate, after all…
as a stingray…
in real life, stingray mating behavior involves males pursuing females, often biting their fins and body, with some bites preceding copulation to maintain contact, and females may flee from persistent males. So if you’re in water, beware of Soundwave, as he will bite and pursue you until you agree to mate.
SHOCKWAVE (JELLYFISH/ANGLERFISH)
as a jellyfish…
In real life, while most jellyfish reproduce by releasing sperm and eggs into the water, some species, like Copula sivickisi, have a more elaborate mating ritual involving a "courtship dance" where the male uses his tentacles to grab a female, drag her around, and then transfer a sperm packet to her, which she then stores in her stomach. When Shockwave realizes you can’t just release eggs like his species can, he’s fine with doing it the ‘regular way’, being careful not to sting you. He’s not embarrassed like Starscream, since he realized more quickly than the other did.
as an anglerfish…
In the bizarre mating ritual of some deep-sea anglerfish species, tiny males latch onto much larger females, often permanently fusing with them, becoming a sexual parasite and relying on the female for nutrients, while providing sperm for fertilization. While Shockwave is.. aware of his species “un logical” way of reproducing, he may have some small, unique traits even if he won’t.. “fuse” with you. For example, if you were to eventually carry the creatures (affectionate) eggs, expect him to latch onto you and be a bit more clingy (in his own ‘cold’ way), and barely leaving your side, only leaving to hunt for food for the both of you.
KNOCKOUT (LIONFISH/"BLUE DRAGON" or Glaucus atlanticus)
as a lionfish…
in real life, lionfish mating involves males initiating courtship by searching for females, resting beside them, and then circling before ascending to the surface with the female, where they release two mucus-coated egg clusters that are then fertilized by the male. Knockout, since he’s more familiar with humans than the other Decepticons, knows this won’t work, so he settles for simply doing it the other way. He will, however, still circle around you anytime you’re in water, both because he’s happy to see you but also to show you’re his mate, not anyone else’s!
as a blue dragon…
Blue dragons, being hermaphroditic sea slugs, require mating with another individual to produce viable eggs, and their mating behavior involves careful navigation to avoid stinging each other, resulting in strings of eggs laid on floating objects. Knockout is very careful not to accidentally poison or sting you while mating, and if you are hurt when mating, he will be quick to tend to you.
Imagine being a reincarnated war general in the Transformers animated universe.
(Author's note: I had this on my mind since that ask. So, I decided to make this. I decided to put this in the Animated universe.)
Warnings: mentions of the corrupt senate, caste system, your life during the war, trouble always finding you, animated Starscream is a warning himself, some violence, you getting called old, Ratchet being himself, Optimus being your fan, some allspark lore, and you being grumpy.
---------------------------------------------
- Before being reborn into this alien world called Cybertron, you were a war general fighting a war on Earth. In the last days of the war, a bullet went through your heart, and despite the medic’s efforts to save you, you succumbed to your injuries and thus fell in the line of duty.
- You didn’t really feel sad while you were still conscious. You actually felt quite relieved. The war had gone on for so long that you were more than ready to fall into eternal rest. The only thing that made you feel slightly sad was leaving your loyal troops, who would have been more than eager to celebrate the victory with you.
- Oh well. Stuff happens.
- But instead of finding yourself at the steps of heaven or in the flames of hell, you found yourself reborn as some kind of robot in this new world called Cybertron with your past life memories still intact.
- You were not really shocked about it or your new body. After sating your initial curiosity about your new home world, you decided to take the opportunity to have your retirement and live a quiet life.
- Despite the possibilities your new life could have offered, you chose a quiet existence as a farmer, finding honest work far more fulfilling.
- Your new life was decent, despite the caste system, a corrupt senate, and absurd taxes. Your community was kind, and you made many good friends and neighbors. Working in the fields brought you joy you hadn't felt in a long time. You felt contented. No more playing soldier in someone else's war.
- Then the war broke out.
- Due to Cybertron’s problematic system, you tried to stay out of it and be neutral. Both sides had valid causes, but they also had their faults. Neither could be classified as more innocent or right.
- But then neutral bots started getting targeted, and the Cons began dragging innocent worlds into a war they had no business being part of in the first place. That’s when you decided they had gone too far with their cause.
- You didn’t like the Autobots, but you’d rather side with those who, at the very least, didn’t purposely involve innocent worlds in their war.
- Getting through Autobot boot camp was a bit of a challenge. Your drill sergeant didn’t particularly like you. You completed your training exercises with a few issues, but you often questioned their tactics and refused to adopt a new designation. He might have punished you unnecessarily more than once, which didn’t earn you the best reputation among your teammates.
- Still, you pulled through, learning new skills and retraining your body for combat. You become one of the best Autobot soldiers.
- On your first combat mission, you followed orders as best you could, but your former drill sergeant—now your team leader—was incompetent in his job. He led you all into danger and nearly got you and your teammates killed more than once. And when things got particularly bad, he abandoned the team to save himself, leaving you all to survive on your own.
- In that desperate moment, you took command of the team, led them through the mission, and accomplished it while keeping your teammates alive.
- It allowed you to gain the respect of your team and the attention of the higher command.
- You then formally had your former superior demoted for abandonment and incompetence—which, unsurprisingly, didn’t make him happy. At your team’s insistence, you were promoted to their new leader.
- Throughout the war, you led your team and completed many missions with minimal losses. This allowed you to rise through the ranks, and by applying your past battle tactics and methods, you secured victory in numerous battles. Eventually, you gained command of an entire fleet.
- You earned the name Man’o’War for your strength and brilliant control over the battlefield.
- You might have had a small hand in it when your troops wanted to give you a nickname, and you humored them. You never expected it to become serious, or something that would inspire fear among your enemies.
- After one of your most famous space battles, where you and a handful of bots stayed behind to control a crumbling vessel, flying it into the Decepticon warship to buy time for Autobot supply ships to escape. After escaping captivity with your team, you were given the rank of general.
- Your unique mentality earned you fear even among the Cons. Your troops respected you deeply and were fiercely loyal, never hesitating to come to your aid. Their support helped you out of tight spots more than once, especially when jealous bots in high command tried to sabotage you.
- Your new reputation even allowed you a few encounters with the Decepticon leader himself, who regarded you as one of his most dangerous enemies.
- The Autobot leader, Ultra Magnus, held you in high regard and placed great trust in you. It was thanks to you that the Decepticons were held off long enough for the creation of the Omega Sentinel and ultimately winning the war.
- After the war was finally won and rebuilding could happen, you were offered a seat in the newly built council. However, you declined. You had enough of wars and politics, as it was the main reason the war happened in the first place. Instead, you decided to resign and finally have your retirement, putting a trusted bot in charge of your fleet.
- However, you kinda had enough of Cybertron itself, so you decided to take a ship and find a new home somewhere else. You did not trust the High Council not to pull some scrap to get you back into action.
- During your travels through space, you eventually stumbled upon Earth. After seeing how much your previous world had changed—and even discovering some old historical records about yourself—you decided to settle there.
-Using some of the tech given to you before you left, you created a holoform to disguise yourself as a human and became a farmer once again. At last, you could enjoy peace and quiet, occasionally interacting with your neighbors and their children.
- But of course, peace never lasts with you.
- You honestly start to believe some kind of cosmic order has it out for you because some years later, after years of peacefully living as a human farmer, your alien kind found its way to your planet.
- A group of new Autobots showed up.
- You had been aware of them when the news first spoke about them. You had followed their progress as the city’s heroes, and you would be lying if you said you weren’t impressed. Unlike most Autobots, who would grovel at the sight of organics, they helped people with their occasional problems and kept them safe from dangerous individuals.
-They showed great promise.
- Then an old neighbor of yours, Isaac Sumdac—whom you hadn’t seen since his sudden breakthrough in technological inventions and rise to head of Detroit’s tech industry—sent you an invitation. He was rather insistent over the phone and wanted to give his “old friend” a tour.
- You weren’t entirely sure the two of you were friends. Maybe it was just because you were one of the few who listened and didn’t judge him for his enthusiasm for inventing. He was considered an oddball in the neighborhood. Even though he was odd, he had a good head on his shoulder and never invented things for foul purposes.
- And, being too polite to refuse, you accepted the invitation and made your way to Detroit.
- After arriving in the city and at the Sumdac tower, you met your old neighbour, who then introduced you to his daughter and the Autobots.
- You had an odd feeling about his daughter. You’d never heard that he had gotten married or adopted, and given his public profile, something like that should’ve made the news. Sari herself left you bothered… There was something about her that didn't quite sit right with you.
- You exchanged polite greetings with the Autobots, expressing your respect for their dedication to helping Detroit’s citizens with their everyday problems.
-You were almost surprised by Optimus’s humility. He claimed it was simply part of their duty for being allowed to treat Detroit as their temporary home. His answer made you feel rather pleased. That kind of quality would have made a promising leader.
-You recognized Ratchet, whom you’d met during the war. He looked at you in a way like he recognized you, but when you asked about it, he just shrugged and said you reminded him of someone. Apparently, your disguise was convincing enough to slip past even his sharp optics.
-Then, strangely, Sari's odd-looking key began emitting energy in your presence. You nearly froze because you recognized that energy, but you stayed quiet as the bots suspected something was happening in the city and went out on patrol.
- After the bots left, Isaac gave you a tour around the city, proudly highlighting his accomplishments—many of which had significantly improved the quality of life for Detroit’s citizens. You nodded along, mildly impressed, though some of the tech looked suspiciously similar to Cybertronian technology.
- He then invited you to a press event to unveil a new drone invention. Since you had time to spare, you accepted.
- At the event, however, you had a strange feeling. You felt like you were being watched and that something bad was about to happen. It was an old instinct you retained through your rebirth and war.
- Partway through the presentation, something hijacked the system of Isaac’s latest invention. The drone went rogue and began attacking civilians. Fortunately, the Autobots were present to respond, while you helped Isaac and Sari evacuate the crowd.
- You left the bots to deal with the malfunctioning drone. It took some time, but they managed to shut down the drone.
-When you saw Sari's key in action, you finally decided to ask about it and learned about the Allspark.
- Just when things seemed under control, Starscream, a Decepticon you knew all too well, appeared, intending to cause trouble.
- At first, you allowed the Autobots to take the lead in the fight. But then Starscream caused collateral damage, endangering human lives in two separate locations. With the bots stretched too thin to manage all three problems, you decided to act.
- You summoned your true body, causing your “car” to move on its own. Sari was confused when it arrived for you, but she climbed inside anyway as you raced off to deal with the second threat. She had clearly started to suspect something, but once you reached the site, the two of you worked together to get the people to safety.
- But, of course, Starscream had to escalate things. He fired toward you and Sari, intending to blast the Autobot’s ‘pets’. Luckily, you managed to push yourself and Sari out of direct line, but the blast destroyed the ground beneath you, causing you and Sari to fall from the building.
- With the Autobots too far to reach you in time, you summoned your body and disabled your holoform, causing you to disappear. You then transformed and caught Sari before she could hit the ground.
- No one saw exactly what had happened at first, but then you fired one of your old weapons and shot Starscream out of the sky. When the dust finally settled, there you stood in your robot form and the Autobot insignia on your chest. Sari stared up at you in awe, resting safely in your servo.
- “Still up to your cowardly tricks, Starscream?” you called out, fixing your gaze on him.
- It took him a nanoklik to recognize you. His optics widened, and he shouted your nickname before turning tail and flying off in panic.
- With the danger gone, the Autobots turned their attention to you as you gently set Sari down. They looked at you in awe as they had never seen Starscream flee with his tail between his legs before.
- “Who are you?” Optimus asked, stepping forward.
- Ratchet stared at you, then muttered your old war nickname in disbelief.
- “Wait—this old geezer?” Bumblebee blurted out.
- Ratchet promptly smacked him on the helm. “Show some respect,” he grumbled, then turned back to the others. “You’re looking at one of the most famous generals in Cybertronian history.”
- The whole team then looked at you with shock when they realized you were the war legend ‘Man’o’War’. Isaac was shocked that his old neighbor had been an alien robot.
- Ratchet asked what you were doing on Earth, noting that you had simply vanished from Cybertron after retiring. You explained that Earth had been your home for the past decades.
- Then, growing frustrated, you began ranting—angrily questioning why they were fighting Decepticons alone and whether Cybertron’s High Council had been informed. After all, there hadn’t been any major Decepticon sightings since the war ended.
- You then learn the whole deal about the Allspark and that they were stranded on Earth with no communication.
- The mention of the Allspark left you in silent dread. You had a history with it—one you didn’t care to revisit. Still, you softened and offered them a few old communication devices stored aboard your ship.
- They accepted the offer, and after retrieving the devices, you paid a visit to their current home base.
- The youngsters looked at you with silent admiration, eagerly asking question after question. Bumblebee, in particular, was rather brash and blunt with his curiosity, earning more than a few smacks to the helm from Ratchet. You honestly didn’t mind.
- Optimus seemed to hold you in deep respect. He told you how he had read about your many accomplishments and battles.
- You told him how impressed you were with his leadership and questioned why someone like him had been assigned to a simple Spacebridge maintenance crew. That’s when you learned about his expulsion from the Elite Guard Academy due to an incident in his past.
- You offered him some reassurance, telling him that mistakes happen, and what truly matters is learning from them. You had seen the trust his team has in him, which would be considered rare among the big shots in the Elite Guard.
- The youngster looked like he was about to have a spark attack, like he just got an autograph from his biggest idol.
- Then, you revealed the truth about your connection to the Allspark and why Sari's key acted weird in your presence.
-During the war, the Allspark was entrusted to your protection. But after a brutal and costly battle, you made the decision to send it through a Spacebridge to keep it out of Decepticon hands.
- It earned you scorn from the other Autobots, and you never imagined it would be found again.
- To your surprise, the team didn’t respond with anger or blame. They showed supportive understanding since your decision allowed Cybertron’s most sacred relic to stay out of Decepticon hands.
- When they asked if you would join to help them defend Earth from the Decepticon attack, you refused, having no interest in going back into action. Since there were only a handful of Decepticons, it was not something that required your involvement.
- They seemed a little disheartened, so you promised to step in if things got particularly bad, and that they could use your ship since you had no real use for it, and offer tactical consultation if needed.
- Ratchet and Optimus understood and respected your decision.
- You then returned to your human form, ready to go back to your farm. Sari whined a little, wanting to learn more stuff about you. You gave them your address since you preferred to live in seclusion and avoid unnecessary drama.
- They’ll be free to visit when needed; otherwise, they should not bother you.
- After bidding farewell, you drove out of Detroit. Oddly enough, you still felt like you were being watched, but this time, it felt different. It was as if... an old foe was watching you from the shadows.
Mini!Prowl being picked up by you during a mission to get him out of danger.
You apologize for the sudden appearance and such, but his processor is on…other things.
Your chest in particular.
Nothing scandalous, but rather, simple curiosity. Cybertronians don't have soft skin like humans do, nor do they have certain anatomical features.
Your heart, he could feel it…beating. It fascinates him how different humans and Crybertronians are. So don't be surprised if he asks to listen to it once more...
Or maybe a couple more times.
At a certain point, the others will see him resting his helm against your chest, always asking what's so interesting about it.
You explain it's just Prowl being curious about human hearts, and while that isn't untrue, he's come to like the feel…of your chest…but he's a bit too shy to say that, so he'll let you speak on his behalf.
What if reader is a like Steven or maybe one the crystal gems like pearl or like lapiz or maybe a diamond since.
Thought of this after watching that one episode where blue diamond was mourning for pink and kidnaps greg, thought would be cool if instead of Steven and Greg is one of the humans idk maybe sam or jack depending which transformers were talking here.
Or straight going Steven universe reader here, seeing that Steven can make a shield out of thin air, has a lion that can make portals, and can heal??? Brother you aint no human
They might be confused about the whole fusion thing but imagine bumblebee coming like "Guys i saw two human turn into a bigger human" Ratchet looking at bumblebee like hes lost it "bumblebee please tell me you didn't hit your head"
Can I request TFA!Blurr x Cybertronian!Reader that is the opposite of him? Like they're slow [on speed], they're also calm, patient, and always lost on their thoughts, and they freeze like a deer in headlights when caught off guard or they get startled! [Romantic headcanons btw!!]
♡ [TFA] "AGENTS" Blurr HCs
YESSIR A CHANCE TO WRITE BLURR LESSGOOO okay, btw your previous request is still under processing also why the reader literally me here. minus the patient part 💔
scenario: you're his newly assigned partner and he's not digging it... initially, at least.
— Blurr typically works alone, Autobot Intelligence Officer and all that but unfortunately for him, it was mandate to have partner as an aid or back up. Even worse, it was High Command who would directly chose who his 'backup' would be which meant he has no say in the decision whatsoever.
— When he meets you, its... not a good impression. He immediately picks up how you struggle with how fast he talks and boy, it is frustrating for him to talk to you. He tries, he tries so hard for him to go as slow as he can when trying to convey information to you (its actually still pretty fast), he's even willing to repeat it for you— Which is something he usually never does but even then, you'll be at your fifth "...huh?". Blurr is so close to just smacking you, he swears it.
— Blurr lives in a fast paced world. Time, for him, moves slower than it would for a normal bot because of his speedster ability. So he can be impatient, rash & easily agitated sometimes when things don't go in a faster pace. And you clearly cannot move with the program!
— Blurr has no idea how you ended up in Autobot Intelligence to be frank. Your processing time is an affront to all Autobot microcontroller processing chips, you speak slow too... or worse, you end up distracted! He always has to bring you back to the current moment. It gets annoying. You're here with him on a mission spark damn it!
— But as the two of you work on more cases, more missions, he realizes that you're the way you are not because your processing chips might've been manufactured during the Protectorbots but because you're patient. You look at every single detail & angle, drawing up conclusions and possibilities he would've never thought of. Blurr tends to take things with a more... face-value assessment but you? You're speculative. You're distracted by your thoughts often, sure but your biggest strength is that you think more than him.
— You pay attention to detail surprisingly enough, details which he would've skimmed over. Blurr despite the intial impression, you were clearly an intelligence agent for a reason. Running countless simulations in your helm to come up with possibilities & speculate outcomes, of course something like that takes time & careful thinking. He's a bit surprised at how... often he skims over some important parts or fails to consider an alternative. You've made him kind of self-aware in a way.
— The steadiness feels soothing, he's always gone fast but you've showed him how to take it a bit slow for once. You're one of the most relaxing bots he's ever been around, he won't deny that. You're patient, incredibly so. You don't get annoyed at his restlessness or his fast talking. He likes that.
— And he likes you a bit more... he has that strange fluttering in his chassis when you speak, its soothing; calm & peaceful. He finds himself keenly listening to every drawn out syllable from your vocalizer and time seemed to move even slower. You'd talk about your findings, conclusions, speculations and sometimes even wander off from the subject at hand but Blurr actually kind of... liked you speaking? It was strange to him. He never thought he'd find himself wanting to hear someone speak.
— He shows his interest in an... odd way, to say the least. Usually by scolding you if you're not taking care of yourself or giving you a mug of energon and emphasising the need to stay well-fueled always. Blurr's affection is his care.
— Blurr is fast, he lives a fast paced life so it's no wonder that his opinion of you did a 180⁰ quicker than you'd think. A few missions in and he realizes what exactly it is that he feels for you and boy, oh boy, he is going through with it.
— Blurr acts... a bit strange around you? Its not very obvious but he's talking a bit quicker than usual and you can't understand a bit of it. You've given up on asking him to repeat himself and just nod as of you get it.
"AHEM." Blurr catches your attention as you're snapped out of your day-dreaming, you look so lost. Definitely startled you. You look kind of cute when you look so startled? It makes his spark stutter again.
"Hey, Blurr." You greet him, wondering why he's at your workstation. The two of you have collected a lot of evidence about the possible infiltration case the two of you have been working on together. But instead of a 'Hi' or a 'How are you?', Blurr hits you with the:
Blurr's rambling to you is incoherent, all that noise was almost like a blip in your audios at best, like a blurry image speeding past you except its sound. You look as clueless as ever; everytime you tell yourself that you've managed to catch up with his fast-talking, he proves you wrong by going even faster. You nod and hope that he doesn't realize the fact that you have absolutely no idea what he just said.
"Sure... just.. uh-"
"MARVELLOUS!" He dashes away from you, leaving you all the more confused.
That guy...
— Blurr gets nervous, especially when it comes to this whole love thing and when he does, he's even more restless; he's speaking even faster & his pedes are rapidly tapping against the floor. You maybe a bit of a dreamer and more of a steady bot but you weren't dense! You could tell he was getting nervous around you for some reason... and you two were hanging out a lot more than usually. Funny how you went from 'co-worker I dont really like' to """"bffs"""".
— And so, when you approach him about it... For the first time, you saw Blurr freeze. Unable to really come up with a response for once. Even if it were just for a slim moment.
"Well," Blurr can't believe he's stumbling over his words like this, his processor moving faster than his frame for once. Its so new, so strange. He hates looking like a fool, prim & proper agent being so fussy over romance of all things... But that look you're giving him is not helping at all, optical ridges furrowed with a questioning look.
"I may or may not be... undeniably, irrevocably in... in love with... you."
Your blue optics shoot wide, definitely startled by that revelation. That was the only time he had ever spoken with a slower pace than usual. You open your intake to say something, trying to find the words.
"I'd like to be with you." You shushed him by putting your servo over his intake.
Now its Blurr's turn to go quiet. He didn't expect an answer so quick from you given you're the type to take your time and truly assess what's infront of you before jumping in. But he can see the honesty in your optics, that you truly mean what you say.
— Now, are intelligent agents allowed to have dating lives or even date each other? Neither of you know but as far as you're considered, you don't really care about it.
— Blurr won't outright say it but he loves it when you shut him up, preferably with a kiss. He'll be rambling on about something, just kiss him and he'll shut up. He's smitten.
— He definitely does pout sometimes when you get a bit critical about him. Blurr does have a bit of an ego, stroke it and he'll hold his helm high.
— Blurr does not get flustered by your flirts (if you try flirting with him), he's either matching your energy or he's just going to smile and go "I honestly thought you'd have one better" (something along those lines).
— The two of you are pretty close with the Head of Cybertron Intelligence :)
I HOPE YOU LIKED THIS!!! i kind of struggled with Blurr's characterization because its been a while since i've watched TFA- forgive me for any typos :,)
