          she   jumped   back,   feeling   the   papers   fly   from   her   hands.   a   muttered   curse   as   she   moved   to   grab   the   multiple   drafts.   great.   now   she   had   to   fight   to   figure   out   which   chapters   melded   with   which   stories.   of   course   she   had   to   be   working   on   multiple   novels   when   she   had   been   spooked.  

          ❝    y   -   you’re   too   QUIET,   you   know   !   ❞    a   gentle   curse   under   her   breath   as   fukawa   crouches,   long   skirt   bundling   below   as   she   pulled   the   papers   to   her   chest.

               ❝ this is getting incredibly IRRITATING . ❞ drumming his fingers on the table in front of him , light would let out a sigh ; the students really seemed to believe they had a CHANCE against the mastermind , like all of their lives were actually something more than mere entertainment . it was beginning to get to light - his god complex needed to be fed . 

             turning to his accomplice - though he knew she really technically had more power than he did . no one knew his true identity as kira . thankfully he had written enough criminals in advance to give him insurance for ... say , a month or so . but things had to be settled by then . he could always just write someone’s name with the scrap he keeps in his watch - with blood if he had no other alternative . it would be an unsolvable murder , so he’d get out guaranteed . 

           for now , though , he had to admit he was having fun playing the role of the mastermind’s accomplice . as long as they took ACTION soon . 

          ❝ isn’t there anything we can do to get these students to show a little more despair ? it’s too hopeful around here for my liking . ❞

          gaze   flickers   to   her   sister   as   her   hands   settle   at   her   chin.   absolute   boredom   seemed   to   surge   there,   flickering   across   each   feature   like   an   annoying   bee.   ready   to   sting   at   anyone   who   dare   cross   her   path.  

          an   irritated   surge   of   annoyance   fled   as   she   leaned   back   in   her   chair,   almost   dangerously   rocking   on   two   legs.  

          ❝   mukuro,   i’m   getting   bored.   how   long   do   we   have   to   wait   for   this   thing   again   ?   ❞

          obviously,   it   seemed   that   she   was   not   about   to   take   any   vague   answer   as   truth,   and   with   the   way   she   was   acting   --   she   was   about   to   act   up   unless   something   worthwhile   or   exciting   happened   in   the   next   few   moments.

          ‘   yeesh   .   you   think   hagakure                         is for-real mad about that crummy crystal ball?’ he’d offered (sincerely, he may add) to replace the thing, but people, leon guesses, are unpredictable. ‘you don’t look busy, right? cool. means we can kinda talk strategy, or, y’know, whatever. i’m kinda fuckin’ freaked.’
