It’s been a whole month since I said yes to you. It’s been a whole month since I agreed to ride this ride with you and go on this journey with you.
Dating you for 6-7 months before agreeing to be your Girlfriend is (to be honest) the longest I’ve ever dated someone before giving an answer. And to be honest, it has shown me that I am capable of loving you continuously and consistently despite the distance between us.
Being with you has taught me patience and trust. Feeling your love through words and promises, trusting you in those promises. Communicating feelings and the meaning of communication.
The day you came to me, to physically time spend time with me, to be with me, was the best start to my year. And to have given me the option to be your Girlfriend in person was more than I could have ever anticipated.
You have given so much to me, sacrificed so much for me, travelled the distance for me. You have taken care of me, through my mental illness and through my physical illness. You have poured so much of love into my soul, that you filled all the cracks I had before. You have given me so much of hope and of actually seeing a future, you are my light in this very grey and dim world. I cannot promise you the sun will shine again, but I can assure you that you have given me enough warmth and light to want to try to live this life.
I promise to only give you the best. I promise to love you to the best of my abilities and to always make you feel loved, wanted and more than just good enough. I am going to hold your hand through it all. Facing all my fears will always be a challenge, but I won’t give up on you; because you have never given up on me.

8434 miles apart but I cannot think of anyone who can love me better than you have. You have given and taught me so much (despite our age gap hahah), but greatest of all is your love. I can only pray that I am able to do the same for you.
