dont you hate that thing where if you don’t do something perfectly the first time you try to do it your soul just turns into broken glass and you feel an intense hatred and self loathing bc all the steps were there but you were too much of a dipshit to do it right, even if you were for just one second a little proud of it bc as a kid you werent allowed to make mistakes on anything and if you did you were chastised over it for weeks on end and that shit echoes around inside of you forever like a pick in a guitar
