To be 100% honest, I’m not that confident in myself... until I found this one article of clothing 😂 it’s basically a big black one piece, it looks pretty much like a shirt, but then down at the bottom, it clasps together. I’ll see if I can figure out what it’s called and try to supply a photo, but basically, I found one that I really liked, it fits really well and I feel amazing in it, which is quite the change for me, to be frank!

That being said, my ass looks amazing in it as well 😉 so, to turn a long story short, I’d definitely have to say my ass lol

7: Who do you fantasize about when you’re alone?

Celebrity fantasy: Alright, so as most of you may know, I’m lesbian, but I know an attractive man when I see one... obviously, though, none of this would never happen—they’re huge celebrities, but one can fantasize about being man-handled by these two (maybe at the same time, who knows...): Tom Holland and Robert Downey Jr.

I feel like Tom would be really good at making sure I’m enjoying myself throughout the entire process—he’d take good care of me and treat me well.

Downey, on the other hand—he’d know everything. He’d know just what to do to make me scream and fully submit over to him, and idk, it’s enough to get a girl going, for sure.

Personal fantasy (someone I legitimately know in person and have been friends with for years): I shall call her Smith.

I’ve known her since I was in the 6th grade, so literally six years now and I’ve been hardcore crushing on this girl this entire time. She’s the girl who made me realize I’m not straight and I haven’t been able to get my mind off of her since. It‘s always her.

Now, I’m very much a top in terms of my relationships. I love initiating everything with a girl—I like doing things for her like buying her food, or opening the door for her, or pressing her to the wall to kiss her stupid.

But when Smith comes to mind? I am a complete and utter mess. I can’t think straight (all pun intended), but still, everything is Smith, Smith, Smith. I would completely and 100% fully submit to this one woman, and I have no idea why. I don’t know how she gets under my skin the way that she does, but all I know is that she’s got me completely and utterly whipped... I’m her bitch, and she doesn’t even know it, but I don’t mind it a bit.

Maybe one of these days, I’ll work up the courage to tell her this and end my day with a good time.

how many chapters does a single volume include? and is it true that snk will be ending with 27 volumes?

Generally, each volume contains 4 chapters. There are two exceptions to this: Volumes 2 and 4 of the series with 5 chapters each. Each arc generally lasts four volumes, but certain arcs, such as the Uprising arc, are over at five. We are currently 3 volumes into the Return to Shiganshina arc, having just finished Volume 20. 

As for the series ending at 27 volumes, it’s important to understand that the number is an estimate, and not a complete certainty. In the summer 2015 issue of Ani-an, Isayama stated that the manga was 60 percent over. Using volume 16 as a reference, as that was the last completed volume at the time of this interview, we arrive at 27 volumes. The number 27 has never officially been confirmed or denied by official sources in Japan and as many series remain fluid, it’s difficult to say when exactly a story will end. 

However, because of Isayama’s interview in the August 2016 Issue of Gong Kakutogi, where he stated that he did not want to expand the manga beyond what he has currently planned and that volume 20 is approaching the climax of the story, we can assume that we are reaching the series’ end relatively soon.

do you think both armin and erwin could get the serum?

Technically, this would not be impossible. Rod Reiss was able to turn into a titan from a lick of serum on the ground. However, I believe there are three problems with this. 

1) Rod took the titan serum incorrectly and we have no idea what effects an incorrectly taken serum could have on a person or what Rod would have been like as a shifter if he had actually managed to eat Eren. It’s likely something very risky to do.

2) Levi, as of the moment, is searching for someone, literally anyone, and I don’t think he would think of splitting the serum, with knowing what the serum did to Rod, Kenny’s dying words, and in his desperation to find someone. I imagine he would probably give the entire serum to the first person he could. Or possibly if Levi managed to hear about Armin’s state in time, debate giving the full serum to Armin or Erwin. 

3) As there would be two potential shifters if the serum was split, both Reiner and Bertolt would have to be eaten. I personally believe that one will survive this bout if not both. They both have a lot of story to tell and we need more of a threat for the future. Otherwise, we’re officially down to Zeke, who we’ve seen defeated.

Overall, I would say I do not believe that saving both would fit the tone set and if done with the serum, it would hurt suspension and tension in the series for its entirety.

Could you shed a light on the Armin interviews with Isayama again? I feel like they would be relevant. I think I can't find some of them too. I know there was one where Araki claimed Armin might turn dictator but Isayama said there aren't many plans and there was one where he kind of agreed and then there was this month's q and a. We now know why Isayama might have been so hesitant tho. He could do exploring that part of their relationship in flashbacks too. It feels intentionally vague phrasing

I believe I know which ones you are referring to in general.

There are three interviews that mention Eren and Armin perhaps not always being close friends. 

These are the 2014 Araki/ Isayama interview in the Animation Side Guidebook (to be translated officially soon), the April 2015 Bessatsu Shonen Magazine Q&A, and Isayama’s interview on Armin from Gekkan Shingeki no Kyojin (August 2015).

From the Animation Side Guidebook (Part):

Isayama: Although the story is fluid and changeable, we’ve never said “We’re going to end with Armin always being good friends with Eren” or anything like that. 

From the April 2015 Issue of Bessatsu Shonen Magazine:

Q: Has Armin and Eren ever fought before?A: I’ll be writing about that part of their relationship one day.

From Gekkan Shingeki no Kyojin: 

I [Isayama] have discussed Armin’s development a lot with the anime supervisor Araki, and I remember he said that he can picture Armin as a dictator in future. At that time, I never thought of what kind of person Armin will become, but one thing that I agree with Araki is that Armin and Eren’s bond won’t continue to be like that of close childhood friends.

We had the similar idea that Armin would’t always stay together with Eren all the time.

Shingeki no Kyojin Reference: The Divine Comedy

Since Isayama's interview on the Colossal Titan was released, I've been looking into various instances of religion and God in the Shingeki no Kyojin universe. One of these moments in particular is an anime only scene where a wall cultist is reading something from a book during the Colossal Titan attack. Until today, I hadn't really paid attention to what he said and beyond that, I assumed what he was reading from was the Bible. In actuality, what he is reading is two different quotes from The Divine Comedy.

His whole quote in the anime (from @teetanjaeger) is something along the lines of this:

For till then I was a soul in misery, alienated from God and covetous of all earthly things; As thou seest, here punished for my doting. Such cleansing from the taint of avarice do spirits, converted, need. This mount inflicts no direr penalty. O avarice! What canst thou more, who hast subdued our blood so wholly to thyself, they feel no care of their own flesh? O avarice! What casnt thou more, who hast—Wallcultist Episode 2

These quotes from different sections of The Divine Comedy, both from the section on Purgatory and avarice in particular. Here are the quotes in their entirety: 

Dante’s Divine Comedy—Purgatory: Canto XIX

I was a soul in misery, alienate From God, and covetous of all earthly things; Now, as thou seest, here punish'd for my doting. Such cleansing from the taint of avarice, Do spirits, converted, need. For now, I leave it at this. I have not read The Divine Comedy nor Paradise Lost (mentioned in the Colossal Titan Interview) in their entirety, but I feel that that these quotes are something worth mentioning.

Zeke’s Name Meaning

Name meanings for Shingeki no Kyojin characters are important in that they generally reflect something about the character. For example, Eren’s full name means “Saint/Holy Person” and “Hunter” which suits his character well given events in the manga.

For Zeke, the exact reference for his name is unknown. As of the moment, fandom is torn between Zeke and Sieg (Ezekiel/Zechariah and Siegfried/Siegmund)—essentially a debate between Norse Mythology and the Bible.

However, there is a possible alternative name reference for Zeke that hasn't been touched on yet outside of Japan.  It's possible that "Zeke" is a reference to the Mitsubishi A6M Zero, a very well used Japanese World War II plane that had a reputation as a dogfighter. The Allied nickname for this plane was “Zeke”.

It’s more likely that Zeke refers to either Ezekiel or Siegfried given the references to the Bible and Norse Mythology in the manga, but I bring this up if only because Isayama has named characters after Japanese warcraft before and has an interest in World War II. Mikasa, in particular, was named after the Japanese battleship Mikasa

Just read that theory you linked in the previous ask and one thing, I feel, is off. Yeah, Pixis told Eren about the war between humans before the walls were bult, but... How does he even know? Shouldn't these memories be deleted by the first kings will/ the coordinate? Or is it possible that one of the nobles/wallists actually shared this knowledge with Pixis? (We see him in the anime with a noble, playing chess, before Trost, so he does have the connections...) What do you think?

From what we’re told in the narrative, the war between humans is something told within the walls, with the logic of humanity uniting as something “someone once said.”

We can take Pixis’ statement at face value, but it’s quite possible that this is not common knowledge rather something that Pixis has picked up in his time as a soldier and high ranking official. Certain high ranking officials and government employees were partially aware of the history in the wall or could have been told something like this. Beyond them, various intelligent wall citizens were able to realize that something was off about the history without having government or military connections. For example, Erwin’s father was merely a history teacher, but he was able to piece together a fairly accurate theory about the state of the world. 

It’s not unlikely that a man as intelligent as Pixis could have done the same.
